Most of the members on this board are way too serious to have fun. They love politics and more politics and so on.

Perhaps I will direct the "12 Angry Men". You know something, I bet I can get 12 angry guys from the forum , to do it with.!!

i am sick and tired of all the american bashing and attacking of me just because of my nationality. you couldn't see that was a joke? you have no sense of humor, i hope you get one someday.
and as long as the likes of you, eliko and humansit (aka racist) are angry and bitter, there will never be a solution to your problems in cyprus. hatred is not the way to be.
"subject closed" as you say....

GorillaGall , America is the greatest nation on earth , in fact we are all exceedingly lucky that today's superpower is the USA and not Russia (Communist Russia ) China or indeed a Nazi Germany. All super powers throughout history have done one thing .Looked after their interests first and foremost. Primarily what the USA is doing today under a lot of criticism from all corners of the world. When I look at the sworn enemies of the USA and see how civilized and democratic they are !!! I thank my lucky stars at having the sense to see that by bombing Somalian terrorist targets and by eventually taking action against the menace of a potential nuclear bunch of lunatics in Iran - a matter of time before it materializes - then I consider such actions as looking after my interests too and also the interests of the entire free world.
I do wish though that you replace this girating monkey .

Ps. Some years ago I was in Thailand in Bangkok actually and witnessed a monkey being eaten alive while it was held in a manacled position on a special stool that was put beside the cannibal's table. Since then I've gone off monkeys. This is true . It is illegal now , but you still buy a dog or a cat in the market places .Some civilization !!
I will not mention the children who are sold to the Arabs , mostly to Saudi Arabia , children as young as 5 years old to be used as jockeys on camels racing. When the master has had his usage of the child they pack them off to where they came from and these children end up living rough in Railway stations.
The most horrendous practice is the one practiced by parents who DELIBERATELY break a child's limbs in order that the child becomes crippled and stands a better chance while out begging .
Aren't you pleased you live in the USA.

thank you miltiades.
yes, i am very happy to live here.
and you know what? what heppened in cypress in 74 was very sad and just not right, but at least as an american, i don't have to worry about things like that. i dealt with 9-11, and hopefully that will be it in my lifetime that i have to worry about. and to have lived this long, and not had to worry about an attack on my soil is a good thing. i guess if i lived in cyprus, i'd be pretty scared all the time. not just because of the problem they have, but because they are much closer to alot of the other tbad things that are happening in the world.
thank you miltiades.

All right, you've insulted me too. You've gone slightly up the "man" scale, but you still haven't impressed me much.

I don't think GG's intent was malicious. I've drawn similar losses to other folks here from the invasion and didn't take what she said personally. Either way, you could've taken the high road and argued your point intellectually. Or asked for clarification, or taken the matter to PMs. So I stand behind my opinion of you insulting people from the safety of an office.

"Sod anyone else?" If I didn't think you were acting like an assh*le, I wouldn't be treating you like one. It's a very isolated thing. So spare me the "I'm a victim lashing out" crap, as it's very unbecoming. NOW the subject can be closed.
