So this has become a posting for the self righteous has it????

After running my own company for nearly 20 years, I opted out of Englandstan and moved here.

I knew the wages were low and had set my budgeting and living expectations accordingly------- and then got robbed by an english radio station i worked for... working on commission only! My first job here.

If the 'well off' on here will pay 5 quid an hour or more for a cleaner, then i'll do it, because its the best offer i'll have had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it must be for 8 hours a day and five days a week.

Stop talking complete tosh.

When you are offered £500 a month to work in overseas investments moving around and being responsible for client portfolis worth millions of pounds... even with the help of my trusty calculator, i cant make that a fiver an hour!

We are all being exploited by those who can... in the same way the UK labour market is now being held to ransom by the hundreds of thousands of E European workers who have flooded in, taken British jobs and chucked British workers on the scrap heap unles you'll work for half pay.......... The culprits........... Blair and his morons and British Business itself.

So dont get on here preaching about how good you are paying a fiver an hour when we all know the reality.

You can have my maill address if you'd like to make that offer of a job permanant at the rates you say.

I think there's a funny smell in here. I'll get my dustpan, brush and bucket ready.

We have a cleaner that comes once a week.

She works 8 ‘til four (eight hours) and is delighted with the CY£20 we pay her.

2.50 pounds is not enough to buy a pitta souvlakia these days, let alone also, feeding bloody animals!

No, I’m in Pissouri.

CY£2.50 per hour is the going rate for a cleaner, gardener, etc. here.

[b]Like I said, unless you are going to apply for the position then don't you have better things to do with your time, seeing it is so precious!
