Was the case. In EU passports hasn't been so since May 1 2004. Even some GC passports now have TRNC stamps due to using Ercan/ferry.

On the assumption that the visitors will walk through Ledra, it's rare for a EU passport to be even opened.

hi Lana

it will most certainly NOT cause a EU passport holder a "problem" other than a RoC official might want to delay you while he "cancels" the "visa" of the "TRNC " ...

Take Care

Dear Alex

if you arrive on the island via the "TRNC" you *could* ask for your passport to be stamped.. but you may have this"visa" "cancelled" when you enter "the area of Cyrus under the effective control of the govt" !!

I wanted the UK passport control to stamp my Irish passport ( on one particular occassion) when I entered the UK, but they will not stamp an EU passport... I've never tried to ask a RoC passport officer.. may be I will !!

Please let us know about your experiences...and good luck
