Install a new Dictator in Iraq???

Postby Sotos » Mon Feb 12, 2007 12:30 am

I watched BBC today and they were debating whether they should put a new dictator in Iraq! Some high profile people were arguing that a dictator is needed to end the violence. WTF?? The USA invaded Iraq supposedly to remove the Weapons of Mass Destruction and to bring democracy. They didn't find any WMD and now they also want to put a new dictator?? So why they went there? To kill 1000s of people for nothing? I think it is time they admit they went there for the oil and the oil alone!! :x

well i dont know about the Cypriots but you definately did manage to piss the rest of the world off thats for sure, infact thats seems to be the only thing you are good at (apart from gettting fat and CO2 emissions), no point trying to be human if you cant get along with any other human around the globe, America has definately gained plenty more of this "poppularity" during the Iraq war, nice work losers

Well if it wasn't for the oil and Iraq desire to be paid in Euro I don't think America would have batted an eyelid about the problems there.

Iraq was stable under a dictator-- even though he was evil -- he was no worse than some leaders in certain parts of Afica and other parts of the world.

No doubt I'll be shouted down for this comment but it's a free world ( in most parts ) and everybody is entitled to their opinion.

Bill and shahmaran, absolutely, leave the Iraqi nation to structure their own policies, the only 'fly in the ointment' is that the Dictator should come from the line that existed prior to the American attack and not be forced on them by the power which attacked them so mercilessly.

They should be left alone, compensated for the devastation and allowed to take their place among all other nations.

As a token of magnanimity, the new Iraqi Dictator could allow the defeated American troops to drag themselves back to their land in shame.

Eliko indeed! However the former Iraqi dictator also came to power with the American help, he used to be an assasin and a good buddy of Bush senior ffs, he overthrew the former government with US help, and now they will do it again?!?!

I think the Americans should take their claws off the middle east compleatly because they have done nothing but repeated harm, i mean these poor Iraqi ppl man, they surely have suffered enough...

The only problem with the re-instatement of a dictatorship (as I see it), is that the new Dictator may be a puppet controlled by the West, such a move would allow the Americans some credibility and they deserve none.

They should now be exposed for what they are, let them scurry back to their decadent land and bear the shame of defeat and contempt for all the evil they have done.

Force them to make restitution for all the damage inflicted on the innocent Iraqi people and shun them.
