We are not concerned with the regime of Saddam PRIOR to the unlawful attack upon his nation, we are in the process of establishing WHY there was a sudden emergence of disharmony in Iraq, (at least I am trying to head that way) and why has there been so little reporting of the situation there recently.

I would like you to know that I am NOT an Iraqi, neither am I Muslim.

It is quite obvious why there is disharmony; three words Osama Bin Laden.
There has been plenty of reporting on the suicide bombers but also the more important news regarding other world affairs like Kenya, the US elections, the financial situation, The Spice Girls reunion (did you know they made £10.000,000 each for their recent London concerts.
How can Iraq be as important as the 'Spice Girls@?

ELIKO WROTE :
""""I, on the other hand, will suffer no such misgivings since I have neither insulted nor condemned them in their efforts to gain freedom from what THEY perceive to be oppression and injustice levied upon them by a mighty foreign force, simply because I do not know the TRUTH of the situation, neither do you. """

Eliko please you are annoying me for goodness sake man , these animals are killing their own people in their own mosques in their own markets , INDISCRIMINATELY ! Where do you see them fighting the enemy ? They are what I termed them to be moons ago , SAVAGES .
You surprise me in your statement above that you do not condemn them !! He blows himself up in a market killing 17 innocents , not long ago , and you Eliko do not condemn this barbarian savage !!

The conclusion I have come to in this short time is that you never answer a question unless it is with a question.
At least from what I have seen Miltiades makes qualified statements whereas yours are your opinions and sweeping generalisations not facts.

Where is the logic in your argument that blowing yourself up and taking two dozen old men, women and children with you is an attack on the coalition.

Even the Iraqis are getting together and saying enough is enough, Osama Bin laden fooled them for a while but thankfully they're waking up.

miltiades, I regard you as my old and esteemed foe on this forum.

I have no wish to either annoy or antagonize you but do feel that you are too often apt to revert to former points in a discussion.

I would like to be able to establish the reasons WHY there was a sudden emergence of the atrocities in the region of Iraq, subsequent to the unlawful attack on that nation.

Let us not concern ourselves with the actual acts of slaughter, rather let us discuss the events which triggered them.

There is little point in constantly referring to 'Martyrdom' and all it's shortcomings (according to us) since we are not of the faith of Islam neither are we Muslims, therefore we cannot truly understand those who are.

What we can do however, is discuss the reasons WHY the people of Iraq so vehemently refuse to accept what we of the West are proposing for them, even to the point where they are prepared to kill and die opposing it.

The answers to these questions will not be discovered by ridiculing and condemning their beliefs, what if we are wrong ?, supposing new information comes to light which bolsters their objections to an unwanted democracy, what fools we would then appear to be.

Let us therefore endeavour to reach some understanding of each others views without ill feeling, I am not your enemy miltiades, my Father was your countryman and I am the Son of my Father.

On that note, I must retire to my bed, it is now 1.10 am and I must rise early in the morning. Good Night and God Bless. X

Andrew Meyer (the tazee) was charged with resisting arrest with violence. He went on to publicly apologize for his actions and stated that the police did nothing wrong. And yet the video above doesn't show him swinging at the arresting officers, so that the audience would ostensibly sympathize with the criminal...

This is so typical of the anti west censorship, selectivly quoting/printing/film editing anything to show the west in a bad light.

Eliko , wrong again my dear friend. IT IS NOT THE PEOPLE OF IRAQ BUT A BUNCH OF FANATICS .
The people of Iraq want nothing short of peace and stability. they are prepared to allow their own democratically elected
parliament to bring stability and justice to their long suffering people . Why on earth would any" freedom fighter " want to blow women , children young and old and HIS OWN PEOPLE !! Address this and please do some soul searching.
