so what should we call insult?

Son of bitch? Prostitute? bastard?
pezevenk? pust? malaka?

What?

No I will not say we have perfect democracy, But because your disliking from Turkey, We are not such fasist country.

I think travestite is a insult. Maybe this is culture difference.
Maybe you wont call it as a insult. But you should remember Insults are related with culture.

So you can say your friend malaka, pezevenk or travestite. But this is not the situation in Turkey. We call these insult. And I am sure you are agree with me, Insult are against the freedom of speech.
Even in this forum we have no right to insult each other.

transvestite could be an insult but its not profanity.

newspapers and other journalist sources that use profanity can be fined depdning on the content but even so it is up to the people to decide if they want to read or watch a news source that uses profanity.

it should not be up to the government to punish people who poke fun at them. this is what hitler and mussolini did in germany and italy and i believe these countries were considered fascist regimes during that period.

Goverment didnt punish them. Erdogan personaly accused him. Dont he have right for it? To use this right or not is compately different bussines. But he have that right. And I dont think Erdogan is a fasist. I will do samething . Freedome of speech doesnt mean everyone have right to belittle me.

Noone telled it is a profanity. It is an insult and Erdogan accused him personaly.

This is between Erdogan and this journalist. There is nothing related with goverment. He used his personal right.
