Yes the world works in mysterious ways doesnt it

Either everyone fights for their freedom/land or no one does, you cant only shout foul when Turks go for it, that's where the REAL double standard lies at.

So if the Kurds have a right then so do the TC's, dont you think so?

Age doesnt matter my friend. We are talking 'Kurds' here. I visited Cyprus after they began arriving on the island. Near Kythrea I saw a group of ladies walking towards the village. I noticed their traditional clothes and guessed they were from Turkey. I said hello (in Turkish) and asked where they came from. They spoke in a tongue I did not recognise. It took me a while to realise that they were the Mountain Turks (Kurds). They hurried away as if they had seen Gabriel (Azrail).
On returning to my family and reporting on my exchange of words, they told me that I was lucky to be alive. That my presence there was indicative that their menfolk did not see me, and that I should think before I talk to strangers again. Oh well. You learn something every day. Beware of the people in your own country. Damn it (sorry Admin.)

What is happening to my country?

Regards

are you a Kurd "born and bred" in Turkey or from elsewhere ?

Thank GOD I was raised elsewhere - a place where I have had the privilage of 13 years of Kurdish education in STATE SCHOOL - 3 hours a week - and where I have the freedom of expression: including the right to hurl insults and offenses at the KING and QUEEN of this country - without being prosecuted nor imprisoned for it...

I am from Colemêrg - a Kurdish province which has been divided between Turkey, Iran and Iraq.

It is the extend version of what the Turks call "Hakkari".

I was born there - but as mentioned - grew up in Europe...

But all the same - I'm no stranger to Turkey, to say the least...

The Kurds killed all of these 40,000 ?

Turkey destroyed 3000 (?) Kurdish villages without killing a single Kurd ?

Hasn't Turkey killed 10s of thousands of Kurds since "The Great Backstabbing" of 1923 ?

Ocalan started PKK in 1970s, right ?

Dersim massacre was in late 1930s, right ?

28 uprisings - that's the number...

The Şirnex massacre (using chemical bombs) - the Amed massacre - the Ararat massacre - and so on and so forth - they've razed about DOUBLE the number of villages you mentioned - there is a list somewhere online - I will try to find it...

The Tigris and Euphrates were RED with BLOOD several times during the last 80 years...

The Dersîm massacre, the most infamous of them all - resulted in not only ethnocide of the natives - but the effective genocide of the people in the area...

Does the sun in the centre have anything to do with the Vergina star (or sun) of Alexander the Great of Macedonia?

(I can't count how many points it has because it is waving around. The Vergina Star has 16 though.)
