Early morning on the beaches, on the East of the island.

Walking in the snow on the Troodos.

Sunsets on the West coast.

..or anywhere when you are with the one you love.

All the forms required for the application for residence and employment permits for EU nationals are available to download at the Ministry of the Interior website: http://moi.gov.cy/content.php?subid=521
There are also directions included with the forms.

Svetlana wrote:Procedures for EU National wishing to work in Cyprus:

Nationals from member states have the right to enter Cyprus by simply showing a valid EU passport or ID Card without having to register upon arrival.

If there is an intention to stay and take up employment one has to:

a) apply within 8 days for an Alien Registration Certificate (ARC) at the local Immigration Branch of the Police (issued automatically for monitoring purposes). A fee of £20 is paid for the issue of such certificate.

b) apply for a social insurance number upon securing employment in Cyprus

c) apply for a residence permit in case one intends to stay longer than 3 months and take up employment in Cyprus. This application must be submitted before the expiration of this 3-month period to the Civil Registration and Migration Dept. through the local Immigration Branch of the Police (Please note that a fine is imposed in case of non-compliance).

In applying for a residence permit, the EU citizen must turn up personally at the Civil Registration and Migration Department (this service is for the time being, provided at the local Immigration Branch of the Police in all districts) and submit the following:

- A duly completed standard form (obtainable from Civil Registration and Migration Dept or from the local Immigration Branch of the Police).
- Valid Passport or ID Card
- Two photos
- Document of engagement of employment from the employer, stamped by the Labour Department (standardized form available from Civil Registration and Migration Dept or from the local Immigration Branch of the Police) to be completed and signed by the employer. For the time this form is not available so form No.M64 can be used.
- A fee of £5
(Note: if one is applying for dependants, one must present certified true copies of marriage certificates, birth certificates of children etc.).

It should be noted that the conclusion of formalities for acquiring a residence permit is not an obstacle to the immediate commencement of employment.
