At least we get in tournaments.

Espana 4 - Russia 1.

Ay Ay Ay Ay... Canta y no llores......

Indeed, even the year you guys lost to us 3-2 in Lefkosia, I believe you guys made it. PS spain looked great today.

When was that?1842?

Ay Ay Ay Ay... Canta y no llores......

No, More like 1998.Whats that 10 years??? Yes that is something Spain should be proud of

We are talking football right, not the game when they drag a goats carcass around on horseback?

Indeed would you like to see the highlights karaverga???

No I'm not particularly fond of horses. Or dead goats.

Cabron, any team in the world would find it hard to beat Cyprus at home. Ask Ireland (5-2) Wales (3-0) or Germany (1-1) in the last qualifying round.

As for Greece, they played like a tired old team last night. No pace, childish childish mistakes. Nikopolides was in a different country let alone pitch. Every time he came out of his goal he looked like an illegal immigrant surrendering to the authorities. Karagounis, no pace, Basinas no pace. Only people that played well in my view were Charisteas, Kyrgakos and Samaras.

Lets hope th Russians ae still fast asleep by the time we play them.

No! Samaras fell down just by looking the ball reaching him :? and Kyrgiakos is partly blaimed for both goals. Charisteas yes he was good but alone in the front. At least you didn't mention Geekas! :x

Also Karagounis must have thought he is Maradona not passing the ball to any teammate. Why did Antzas & Basinas start the game? Why wasn't Giannakopoulos or Lumberopoulos used? A lot of mistakes by Rehhagel as well.

I predict three nice losses for GRE, WC 1994 style! :(

While drinking many bottles of “Castle” and munching South African spicy meze (first time for me and really not bad), I watched Greece dominate the midfield but unable to go anywhere near the Swedish net… :? ...knowing that without the ability to convert midfield play into forward striking it was a matter of time before the opponent would score…

Spain rocked btw...

To DT: Samaras should be thrown out of the Greek team altogether!

That video was Cyprus? I thought you was talking about Armenia or Albania, or wherever you come from. I would never insult Cypriot football.
Like i said before if you feel the need to insult me personally over football, then you need to stop talking to me.

Very Nice, unlucky. So next time around we should be seeing a Cyprus side in the Euro.

..provided the refs treat us 50-50 & Okkas gets out of Celta Vigo!

But seriously that's a very tough and challenging group. Theoretically we are the weakest team :( but we shall prevail! :D

Yes, not a walk in the park, as long as they don't play like Greece last night, you have a good chance.
