DT, having seen and discussed with others (off-line) the van Nistlerooy goal, I think the referee made an ass of Fifa rules. How can the player writhing on the ground outside the pitch put van Nistelrooy on- side. Anyway a goal is a goal. Stupid ruling I say.

He had not received permission from the Ref to leave the pitch and was therefore deemed an active player. (bit ike when someone runs of the pitch by momentum and can't stop in time...he's allowed straight back in) The rules state that you are not offside if the defender is closer to the goal than you are (doesn't matter if he's behind the goal)

We are talking football right, not the game when they drag a goats carcass around on horseback?

Indeed would you like to see the highlights karaverga???

No I'm not particularly fond of horses. Or dead goats.
Was that the best result you ever had then? or do you usually just start insulting people over fusball?Get a soh fella.

Mamalla mi verga buto. WTF do you mean by dead goats and horses?? If you watched your mouth vato and didnt put down Cypriot Football I wouldnt need to insult you.

That video was Cyprus? I thought you was talking about Armenia or Albania, or wherever you come from. I would never insult Cypriot football.
Like i said before if you feel the need to insult me personally over football, then you need to stop talking to me.

Candyass aka Koulo de caramela,I am a Armenian Cypriot. Cyprus, not Albania, or Armenia kara verga. I was born in Canada,so is that who you mean Buro??

You have to admit though that even some footballers dont undestand the offside rules; and one must obey.

true, even buffon said it was offside but the better team scored it. Thats why ref's are ref's and player are players.

Spain rocked btw...

To DT: Samaras should be thrown out of the Greek team altogether!

t shall all be made clear to you football rookies in the next 2 matches. Samaras will make the difference.
