And that would be a catastrophe of immeasurable consequences. The Cypriot people will NEVER accept part of their country under Turkish occupation for ever , Turkey can not possibly take this lightly .
The T/Cs will rebel , make no mistake the T/Cs know which image they would like to project to the world and it is not going to be one of being a part of Turkey , outside the EU and faced with the prospect of going back in time .
Turkey will sooner rather than later be held accountable for all the unrest that will follow in the occupied part of Cyprus. Casinos and prostitution dont exactly go hand in hand with Islamic principles do they VP .

If and when Turkey loses her EU perspective you can even expect the north becoming part of Turkey, so the lack of a solution and GC EU misused leverage can finally take Turkey to a point where she will no longer be interested in entering the EU and look east towards newer pastures, where will this leave the GCs? 37% of their island will be called Turkey which will in fact only rubber stamp and finalize whats going on today where the north is being Turkified more and more and we TCs move closer and closer to Turkey and their origins rather than anything Cypriot.

What offence was stated on the charge sheet or indictment?

Excellent question Tim, don't think you'll get an answer.

I hope for our sake that Turkey continues on the road towards European Union membership .
Annexation of the occupied part of Cyprus will stoke up immense conflict and it will erupt in the future time and time again. The Cypriot people will NEVER accept their lands becoming by force a part of Turkey , they will rebel they will protest and there will never be peace in Cyprus . Turkey as well as all other protagonists know this . Efforts must continue to smooth Turkeys journey to Europe. I'm hopeful that success for Turkey and Cyprus will come.

don't worry mate you wont be absorbed into Turkey. The GsC's will make sure of that. You'll either stay as you are for the next 34 years or we may reach a solution.

Therefore you have no BALLS to answer my question, but instead you want to disguise your inadequacies by using your old tired "your GC point of view" remarks to me which no one else views it as such, so you better find something else to "beat the drums with". I had asked you a straight forward question that had nothing to do with politics, but just you as a Human Being.

You are still not answering the question. Jesus VP, how many times do I need to repeat the same damn question for you.??

Try reading my response and taking it in, its an answer to your question the second question was not for me but BigAl.

I've read your NO ANSWER answer VP, therefore my answer to you stands as is.!!

Thats all you are going to get and deserve.

I expected no more from a man without BALLS to tell us the truth.

Once again, I rest my case when it comes to the morally corrupted.!!

You have earned it VP, for "protecting" the guilty in murdering unarmed civilians, just because they are "Turkish". How sad is that.? Tells us a lot about your character, or lack of it.!

You really do lack any principles at all, don't you VP.? No wonder you feel comfortable with present Human Rights violation on thousands of Cypriots.!

So far only monetary fines has been awarded to the families of the murdered victims. The murder charges will not be dropped until justice will be served on those who committed them, and when ever a settlement is reached in Cyprus, these criminals will no longer have a place to hide, except perhaps in Turkey for a while longer until she approaches entry to the EU..

What do you think VP ??
Infiltrate you say ? I would have thought that the only infiltrators were and still are the 40 thousand foreign troops occupying the north of Cyprus !
ps. This is how the International community , United Nations , Europe etc view the Turkish army in Cyprus .

""""FRENCH Prime Minister Francois Fillon yesterday said his country could not accept into the EU a country that has occupying forces in another European state.

"We are observing with great care the completion of the commitments Turkey has taken on, but I would like to say that we simply cannot accept into the EU a country, which has occupying troops in another European country," stated the French Prime Minister """

My answer would be yes to both questions.

As for Turkey entering the EU imo it is a long shot and as Turkey realizes its chances will diminish turning into a speical partnership deal, this will of course remove GC leverage over the EU to force Turkey to make concessions. Who do you think will ultimately lose?

You are so wrong VP. I told you guys few months ago, when France and Germany offered only "privileged partnership" to Turkey, that this alone would strengthen Cyprus's hand tremendously. I would bet almost all of the other 26 EU nations will vote for that deal just to keep Turkey out of the EU Club, never mind that Turkey will not accept it, unless it will lead to EU membership at later date, so it will leave just Cyprus to make or break the deal. Talk about Cyprus having 100% control over Turkey admission as a "PP". So you see VP, Cyprus will gain position and not lose it, if only "privileged partnership" is offered to Turkey.

Your petty accusations are water off a ducks back, you have to agree a solution first but as I have stated before and you appear to ignore for your own silly reasons I have stated these people should be held accountable for their actions.

Tim, didn't you know, that according to VP, if one is not charged with a crime in the "trnc", then no crime has been committed.!!!

That is VP's philosophy...!!
