If one of your children or grandkids were to ever marry a Muslim it would do you a lot of good...

Guantanamo Bay must rank us one of our more darkest moments of madness.

How did a man like Bush, openly evil, live amongst us for these 8 years and be allowed to exercise such devilish power over us all, that we failed to reverse his misdeeds? .... until his term was simply over!

We failed ....

Absolute balderdash as expected !
What is it with "we" , he was the legally elected President of the greatest nation on earth. He responded according to his advisers and Guantanamo bay was used to house mostly Jihadis , the few innocents that were incarcerated was a mistake but the majority were Jihadis out to cause mayhem to innocent men women and children. They supported , as you no doubt do , the indiscriminate , premeditated murder of civilians from Bali to New York , Madrid to London anywhere that these savages could cause massive amount of death and destruction. Guantanamo Bay should never have existed , these suspects should have been brought to Justice in the USA and if guilty executed.

Those that were incarcerated are innocent until proven guilty and were held in this concentration camp for many years without trial.

These detainees would be more valuable alive, purely for intelligence gathering, if they are indeed guilty of terrorism.

I always oppose the death penalty in all circumstances. I would have preferred that Saddam was not executed, based on these morals, and for the fact that dead people don't speak. You seem to be barking up the wrong tree when insinuating that Iraq was even associated with terrorist organisations, because this has not been proven to this day.

I am glad to see that at the very least you recognize America's crime in detaining suspected terrorists without trial. If America is so convinced that all Guantanamo detainees are terrorists then it should have given them a fair trial where they could outline the case against these detainees and also allow the detainees an opportunity to defend themselves and clear their names.

So you agree they should have been tried by the usual channels instead of this macabre, archaic concentration camp set up. Good!

And you also agree that it was premeditated if not by Bush, then by his advisers ... therefore as good as!

So what part of my statement is now "Absolute balderdash?
