Personally i am meeting such people frequently (in coffe shops, in villages )and the only words i can find to tell them is just "THANKS" .But the propaganta mixing up junta with normal fathers and young boys fight for this Island is going very well in Cyprus during the last 37 years. I blame Greece many times, particularly its certain politicians but nobody can blame Greek people who are still consider that they have an open account down there.!!I hope this do not be necessary but people like GR will look to the skies and sea to see a hand of help, saving their lifes. If all is under control we feel like we are staying in a super power state but when the danger will be front of us then the propaganta is dying and we will have to face the reality.
Mpakogianni lets say and some others are trying to find ways to get out of Cyprus problem and people like GR just helping them without to realise that they are just prepare their final dissapearance of the Island.(at least as Ethnos/language/culture).

Epsilon, save us the Greek eulogy because one must accept responsibility of one's foolish actions...

If Greece NEVER intended to go ALL THE WAY against Turkey then why was she fucking around with the GC people that destabilized Cyprus and led to this catastrophe?

She had spent the previous half century screwing up the minds of the foolish locals here, but when it came to the crunch she run away with her tail between her legs and let the locals get slaughtered by the invading Turks!

If that was her idea of “Hellenism” did Cyprus really need it?

But don’t answer me that question… tell it to the 6,000 dead.

The point here is what you mean by the word Greece. I asked this many times. Is Cyprus as state (as ROC) or generally as Cypriots also same liable because of its citizens (part of them) participated in Junta's plans. What about these Greeks sent to rocky islands by same Junta? Is Greece liable also? Do they have to change Ethnicity because junta of Greek origin did what they did?

What about the Russians, do they have also to change Ethnicity because Stalin passed from the country's government? I agree that maybe Greece as state, do not have the military power to demand Turkish troops to lieve from Cyprus tomorrow morning but do not diseregard what democratic Greece did so far for our case.

I'll tell you what Epsilon, why don't you start a dedicated thread and jot down your ideas as to why Greece may be distanced from the events of July 15th 1974, and I'll see you there. Fair enough?

No, i prefer not. Sometimes i feel tier to have to prove by arguments something to people seriously affected by propaganta.I will lieve the case until ( i hope never) the necessity of help appears and that certain time i will try to send you a personal msg to ask for your position on the subject.

I received all the Greek and Turkish brain surgery I'll ever need starting one tragic morning of July 1974, but they forgot to close the lid...

And..something else-this certain morning you are refering to-you was not the only person in the area. We were also there -some in soft and some in very difficult situations/ Having our life, we,at least not accepted any surgery either by Turks or by Junta and its supporters in Cyprus. We just remained what we were -people trying to obtain their human rights -fighting for them -even against all.

 If one of your grandmothers got raped by a foreigner DT I’m terribly sorry to hear that but I’m all ears and right here with you offering my full support so go ahead and spill the beans… :(
