As you well know Leon, english is the lingua franca of this forum. Stop trying to encourage conversations in Greek, you know this will exclude a large number of people who use this... do it again and I'll forward your post to admin.

Actually i think we should have the right to have a topic just for speaking in Greek.I mean i dont mind if there is a Turkish speaking topic too.
Its good to know that u can write in ur language especially for as outside Cyprus.
Dont worry there would be no conspirations against the non-greek speaking members.
Once again im just refering to one topic being in greek not hundred.

Ακριβώς, Γιάννη. Όσο δεν κακολογούμε τους Τουκο-Κύπριους κι αντιστρόφως.
Precisely, Yiannis. As long as we don't slag off the Turkish-Cypriots and vice-versa

The result being that we would effectively ensure thread apartheid, given that very few GCs can speak Turkish and vice-versa. The point of this forum is to bring people from both sides together to discuss issues, not to bring together GCs in their own threads and TCs in their own threads. You say one topic... a slippery slope if you ask me. And I say this as someone who's Greek would probably benefit from he practice that you mention.

You also say there would be no conspiracies... come on man, be serious. Are you really suggesting that certain individuals on here would write only nice things about the other community? The point of this forum being in English is that when someone writes something negative (or positive), all can read and understand it. There are a plethora of forums out there that cater for Greeks and Turks in their native language, if that's what you want, I suggest you join one of those instead of trying to turn this forum into just another divided entity.

We're gradually coming to understand your views on Turkish Cypriots, so you're on slippery ground claiming this Leon...

Well, if it looks like an orange, smells like an orange and tastes like an orange... it's likely to be an orange.
