People constantly bang on about the Old Testament to attack Christians, but you need to understand that Christians do not follow the vast majority of the teachings of the Old Testament, because the New Testament superceded a lot of it.

I know the bible inside out , remember I spent a part of my life in an institution where bible lessons were the order of the day.
The Old Testament , particularly Exodus , is one of the most ludicrously violent piece of writing that I have ever encountered. Other religious books are equally absurd , filled with violence , hatred , killings and absolute pure nonsense.
