My family tree goes back to 1,000,000 years BC when the very first Homosapien crossed into this part of Pangaea and got trapped on this section when it broke away as an island so you just can’t beat that.

You’re talking to a genuine pedigree 100% Cypriot here… not the half-cast bastardized lot that started making their way here like yourself.

In all honesty, you should call me Sir and stand attention when typing posts to me.

ermmmm...Where is the credible link to prove your claims,Tiberius (with a keyboard)...???

Any evidence as to who took them, or numbers?

"The Turkish Cypriots on the other hand exaggerated the facts to stress their justification..." Ulus Irkad

I am not in the mood to waste my time with you tonight,Oracle...
You can find out how and how many TCs disappeared from Nicosia Hospital during the events of 63/64....If you really want to know that is...

Oh, you mean you don't know! What a surprise. It's so easy to just throw out some exaggerated generalisations and then plead "it's a waste of time" to try and back them up with evidence. How convenient.

Sleep well.

good morning ,Oracle...Just something to get you started:

But what the young people of Greece have no idea of is that Turkish Cypriots were murdered by the parastatal groups run by Sampson, Yeorgadzis, and Lyssaridis between 1963 and 1967. It should be borne in mind that at that time the Cypriot government was responsible for safeguarding the life, the honour, and the property of all Cypriot citizens, irrespective of national or religious identity.

Oracle, hope you had a nice sleep....take a look at some more credible links...

From 1960 to 1974, Greek Cypriots attempted to both wipe out the Turkish Cypriots or send them fleeing from the island. In December 1963, 25 patients at the Nicosia Hospital disappeared from their beds. A British investigation revealed that the Greek medical staff had slit the patients throats as they lay in their beds. Later, their bodies were loaded onto a truck, driven to a farm north of the city, fed into mechanical choppers, and ground into the earth.

Twelve years ago, Stavros Angelides, a Greek Cypriot journalist, wrote about the Greek Cypriot attitudes toward Cyprus. I would like to read part of what he wrote.

''With the passage time we Greek Cypriots forget, or we willfully disregard, the events which led to the present situation in Cyprus. We forget our faults and we ask all the more emphatically everybody to deliver to us justice as we understand it. We talk in vague terms about UN resolutions, and actually mean those which favor us. The others . . . are not fair—we do not want them—let them go to hell.''

There are other interesting quotes in this link...See if any of them enter your mind without being dismissed as "exaggerations"...

I've only just this minute seen your post.

But, when your "credible" links contain sweeping generalisations such as:

From 1960 to 1974, Greek Cypriots attempted to both wipe out the Turkish Cypriots or send them fleeing from the island.

... without references or evidence, then all they do is serve your exaggerations and go nowhere in presenting the truth.

BTW .... Do you have any evidence, yet, about how those TCs disappeared from the hospital? And quite how "many" such cases there were? You must have lots and lots if it was such a regular occurrence to make such a big thing about, in a political sense, to justify your apartheid!

Here is some more food 4 thought for our Oracle, the Revisionist extraordianire!!!!

The assertion by Mr. Christides (May 10, 1999) that there was no ethnic cleansing or attempted genocide of Turkish Cypriots by Greek Cypriots is ridiculous. Until influential Greek Cypriots come to terms with the appalling behavior of their community toward the smaller Turkish Cypriot community and stop trying to persuade themselves and the world that each side was as much to blame as the other, there will be no reconciliation in Cyprus.

What about this from someone who ought to know::::

In his memoirs, American Undersecretary of State George Ball said: "Makarios's central interest was to block off Turkish intervention so that he and his Greek Cypriots could go on happily massacring Turkish Cypriots. Obviously we would never permit that. "The fact is, however, that neither the United Nations, nor anyone, other than Turkey ever took effective action to prevent it. On Feb. 17, 1964 the Washington Post reported that "Greek Cypriot fanatics appear bent on a policy of genocide."

And this from another credible source:::::

Former British Prime Minister Sir Alec Douglas-Home said, "I was convinced that if Archbishop Makarios could not bring himself to treat the Turkish Cypriots as human beings he was inviting the invasion and partition of the island."

On July 28, 1960 Makarios, the Greek Cypriot president, said: "The independence agreements do not form the goal they are the present and not the future. The Greek Cypriot people will continue their national cause and shape their future in accordance with THEIR will." In a speech on Sept. 4, 1962 at Panayia Makarios said, "Until this Turkish community forming part of the Turkish race that has been the terrible enemy of Hellenism is expelled, the duty of the heroes of EOKA can never be considered terminated."

That ought to keep Oracle busy denying everything for a few days, at least...

Now watch her say this is nota credible source,it comes from a Turkish/american site....

If those poor sods slain by your heroes came back to life to tell you what happened, you would still ask them for "credible" evidence....You are a waste of time and space,oracle,truly...
