Being ignorant doesn't solidify the "trnc" DTA. They left on their own to go to the north because of instructions from the biggest ethnic cleansers of the 20th century which happens to be their kind.

And you know this how? did they not fear for there lives as well?

I know this because my parents lived there before the cleansing. They weren't sent there to work and be counted on as a vote.

How does this explain whether the TCs felt like they were safe to remain in the greek side of cyprus

Stop with your smokescreens man. TC's played to Turkeys tune, and they still are to this day. Stop acting like a pawn, with your ignorant style of trying to learn how the TC's felt.

How would you know? Where were you between 1963 and 1974?

YFrosoula, there you go again jumping on the passed train of the past. Go sell a kebab or something and make some money for yourself, so you wouldn't be riddled with what Turkey messed up on big time.

Sorry to hear that IF thats the truth, which I don't believe. But playing the sympathy card is normal for ethnic cleansers to justify ethnic cleansing.
The sympathy card has been wiped away from both sides, remember? Your approach is nothing but Ottoman. Theres no place in todays world for freak thinkers like yourself.

Instead of dismissing it out of hand, why don't you make some enquires in Limya to see if they fired into the village towards children from the church on the hill known as Stavros. There must a few decent GCs who will not only remeber it but will also confirm it. You really cannot deny personal experience. Trust seems to be the first casualty, if you think we can trust you again.

I see no reason to talk about bullets that flew by over 36 years ago. Thats where you and I are different. I'm not hung up in the past, or see any reason to debate it. And your last sentence that says...

shows a lot about your character. Either adopt an attitude where everyones equal or just paddle back to Turkey.

What the hell do your comments say about you then? "peddle back to Turkey' that statement proves that it is you that is very much stuck in the past as he is a Cypriot so why should he go back to Turkey? why dont you go back to greece?

BTW you dont believe that he was shot at? well I dont believe that you or your family are refugees... so there

thats a good argument DTA, but what about some of the tcs who claim to be turkish and not cypriot? and the fact that the north is mainly mainland turks anyway.. if they feel to be turkish and not cypriot why nto go to turkey? why in cyprus? the same goes to the gcs who think they are GREEK why dont they go back to greece, this is not greece or turkey

Tell me DTA, what do my comments say about me? How can you say that I'm stuck in the past? You just make shit up as you go along with the rest of the freaks that keep the north isolated. Why do you say go back to Greece? I have no ties whatsoever to Greece. So don't you feel like a Turk now?
BTW you dont believe that he was shot at? well I dont believe that you or your family are refugees... so there

I have proof that my family and I are refugees on paper, while your girlfriend can just pick a bullet up off the floor and claim that was the bullet that almost killed her.
