Unprecedented attack on Israel by Turkey.

Postby miltiades » Mon May 31, 2010 9:09 pm

The Turkish foreign secretary launched a fierce attack on Israel calling the convoy attack an act of barbarism and reminding the UN that in all of Abrahamic faiths the killing of even one innocent human is a crime against humanity !!!!!!!!!!
He went on to add that interception on the convoy is unacceptable ... Israel will have to bear the consequences of its actions, adding a very poignant statement that could become historic in that the incident that occurred in open sea which is a gross breach of international law, ( Turkey knows a great deal about breaches of international law ) could cause irrevocable consequences for our relations.

Is this the final journey of Turkey- Israel relations and could this be the start of something to concern our selves with.
Turkey now sees itself as the prominent power in the Middle East and harbours ambitions of creating a second superpower entity in the area with her self at the helm.
It is not inconcieavable to consider that sooner rather than later one by one of the Arab countries will begin showing their appreciation of Turkeys stance against Israel and in support of the Palestinians by expressing their graditude in recognizing the "trnc" !!!
Yes folks , GR will be extremely content in the knowledge that his beloved Hamas now has a powerrful friend against GR's pet hate Israel !!

Turkey are in it for themselves.

From Hijacking this Aid Mission and dirtying it, in their usual way, by getting involved (no problems occurred in the past without Turkey) ... it was obvious they would incite belligerence.

Wherever the Turks lay their hats ... there will be war!

Only the disbanding of this over-sized country, previously called "Turkey", will allow some long-term peace for as many of its neighbours, as possible.

Israel (not my favourite "state") go for it and annihilate the most disgusting construct nation on Earth (next to yours) ... Blow each other up for the sake of LONG term PEACE!

Israel claims for the past 5 yrs or so that it no longer 'occupies' Gaza.

But while it still blockades Gaza and controls their airspace, borders and sea it must be viewed as an 'occupying power'.

It is in breach of dozens of UN resolutions and I doubt they will give a shit about the illegality of attacking ships in international waters or anything else.

They only allow the most basic foods and medicine to get through and most of the rest of the civilised world thinks the blockades should be removed.

This could be good for Cyprus. Israel will need a new friend and the Jewish lobby who has remained silent on Cyprus may make enough noise to embarrass Davutoglu and his 'commitment' to international law.
