So "supporttheunderdog"! Do you recognise that Cyprus and Cypriots are a long suffering people, on the brink of destruction by a far larger occupation nation, and do you support the unconditional withdrawal of ALL Turkish occupation forces and the right of ownership for property lost by All Cypriot refugees in a free and united Cypriot Republic and member of the EU?

Your answer here is critical in determining whether you do in fact support the underdog or whether you are a mere stupid hypocrite!

Dear Paphitis

1) IMHO by bringing the Cyprus problem your post is wildly off topic but is an attempt to divert attention from the real issue which is the criminal behaviour of karyannis.

2) Not withstanding that I will reply to your mesasage posted:Tue Nov 09, 2010 4:58 pm, where I feel I can do no better than to point you at the following:

As a Brit I am absolultely appalled by the stance of some Brit politicians, eg Jack Straw, on the Cyprus Problem: the one thing I can agree with with some posters is that Turkey should (a) implement the Ankara Protocol (b) remove its troops from the North of the Island (taking the Anatolian settlers with them and (c) should faciltate a settlement which should, with only limited exceptions, allow the free return of all Cypriots (both so called GC and so called TC) to properties they were forced from in the various intercommunal troubles in the 1960's and the Invasion in in 1974.

(my reply) In respect of these who bought stolen GC property in the North i.e the Orams of this world and their like, I am with you all the way.

Does that satisfy you?

Just to confirm:

Shots were fired at the ITV film crew who were filming in the street around Conor's house in Frenaros on Sunday.

I knew the story prior to being advised it was in the Greek press. I will provide the correct link shortly.

The problem is that someone else is living in his house. That person faces the same 7 years in prison that the Karayiannas crooks face when the case concludes. It has already been decided that there is a prima facie case to answer and they chose not to defend it. Hmmmm I suppose sometimes you have to accept your actions are indefensible.

His contract remains in the Land Registry and your Minister of the Interior even states that proves indisputable ownership.

Shots were fired, on a Sunday, during the hunting season, in an area where hunting is allowed?

Sounds perfectly innocent to me.

Not to me, as Shooting is not permitted within 500 metres of built-up areas; within 200 metres of isolated houses; within fenced-off private land (the fence or wall must be at least 150cm high)

Also not allowed is parking on pavements, talking on mobiles whilst driving, bikes with no helmets etc etc, so whats your point. In cyprus many things are prohibited and permitted if you get me drift.
Technically you are correct of course but who gives a shit. Oh I should also add trapping and eating delicious song birds is also not allowed but many here have them pickled. yuk!

Indeed I do, but if it was a deliberate attempt to shoot at the crew (and I am not excluding the prospect it was hunters shooting too close to houses, not at all inknown), they will no doubt claim that filming was somehow provocative and get the judicial equivalent of a mild tap on the knuckles and told not to do it again, which passes for justice in ths part of the world.
