I knew the story prior to being advised it was in the Greek press. I will provide the correct link shortly.

Shots were fired, on a Sunday, during the hunting season, in an area where hunting is allowed?

Sounds perfectly innocent to me.

Not to me, as Shooting is not permitted within 500 metres of built-up areas; within 200 metres of isolated houses; within fenced-off private land (the fence or wall must be at least 150cm high)

Also not allowed is parking on pavements, talking on mobiles whilst driving, bikes with no helmets etc etc, so whats your point. In cyprus many things are prohibited and permitted if you get me drift.
Technically you are correct of course but who gives a shit. Oh I should also add trapping and eating delicious song birds is also not allowed but many here have them pickled. yuk!

Indeed I do, but if it was a deliberate attempt to shoot at the crew (and I am not excluding the prospect it was hunters shooting too close to houses, not at all inknown), they will no doubt claim that filming was somehow provocative and get the judicial equivalent of a mild tap on the knuckles and told not to do it again, which passes for justice in ths part of the world.

If it was deliberate, they wouldn't have missed. We have Olympic Gold medal winning shooters.

It must be the Olympic games of :-

Shoot the road sign at least in the middle.
Shoot the dog.
Shoot each other accidentally.
Shoot oneself in ones foot.

Apart from that its shoot as much in the air as you can, to see who could make the most noise.

Oh and do it all in your smartest DPM's cause we won,t be seen then

And gold goes to.......Cyprus yehhhhhhhhh.

Lets return to the thread.

I don't accept that GR, O, etc, have any right to speak on behalf of the Forum and pass any sort of judgement on anyone.

Sorry though, because me giving you respect will no doubt cause us both some unwarranted, vicious, slanderous, racist attacks but I agree with you.

Watch for the fall out and the threats and the innuendo and the desperation about to off load. Same old same old.

Love 'the white feather of cowardice' description for the three thugs.

You can pay me later

Well Milo, they surely deserve the white feather of cowardice.

The other shock I've had recently was seeing the reported age of 'old man' Karayiannas, a mere 55. I thought he was at least 68 going by how he looks. Being a cowardly thug and breaking the law must be a stressful business. Then again, their defence lawyer looks equally old and he's the same age. Clearly defending cowardly thugs is equally stressful.

Cyprus never stood a chance in 1974 with cowards like this defending her. I'd use the word men but then I'd have to be accused of making defamatory comments.

Is anyone in contact with the Attorney General?

I only know as much as the average layman, but usually, when hearings and appeals are being conducted the parties have to avoid media, Internet etc. Certainly that might be why "Conor" doesn't post here; but the fact this "Jack M" is posting Conor's whereabouts and meetings with High Commissioners or MPs and replies to various case matters, is surely breaking the rules of conduct and the Attorney General should be made aware, if not too late.

Get Real! -- do you know any more about this?

It's in your own Greek speaking papers so I'm sure what I say doesn't much concern the Attorney General. Anyone who didn't know where Conor is right this minute would have had to have their heads firmly entrenched up some big cow's arse for the last few weeks.

Everything I have said is in the public domain.

He published his own story and his own property. He is perfectly entitled to do so.

He hasn't disgraced anyone but the corrupt, violent and dishonest people he's encountered in Cyprus. They have disgraced Cyprus and fully deserve the white feather of cowardice.

Marios Karayiannas is the one who posted defamatory stuff not Conor. Hopefully he'll be facing perjury charges at some later date for that but that has to wait until that particular case is finished before the complaint can be made.

Conor had coffee with the Cypriot High Commissioner the week before last and with the British High Commission last week. They clearly view him a very important person and an credible ambassador for the cause of justice. Really, your pathetic attempts to discredit him on this totally irrelevant forum would be laughable if you didn't show yourself to be such a sad little low life, as well as an airhead.

Any thug in trouble can demand to speak with the High Commissioners. Their views of him are their own. It shows the contemptuousness of "you and him" that "you" make unverifiable statements of what other people might think.

The stuff "he"/"you" posted on CF is (mostly) all here for people to see and judge for themselves. I don't paraphrase for others!

And, "you" don't need to keep informing us of "his" whereabouts in this surreptitious way. It's getting pretty sick and sleazy how "he" FEEDS you INFORMATION to pass on here!

Obviously the other nick is too cowardly to come and continue "his" propaganda here, where many have countered "his" opinions too effectively.

I don't think he has an internet connection in his present accomodation and he certainly isn't 'feeding' me anything.

You have clearly taken on Maynard's views that I am Conor and that just leaves you with as much egg on your face as him.
