So far I have not seen one shred if objective evidence in support of any of the seriousc allegations against conor, (a) that he defamed the state, b) that he tried to rip of Karyiannis or the state.

For a "victim" he was sure well prepared with cameras and campaigns.

Can someone dig up that thread where there was a "seemingly" doctored front-page of a newspaper ...

I imagine he got wise to the fact that he needed to document/evidence everything: nothing sinster in that. on;y prudence.

You seem to know him pretty well.

Care to tell us why he was (allegedly) "kicked out" of the army?

You seem to know him better. Was he allegedly kicked out of the army? I haven't heard that on, so do tell, I do so much like a juicy bit of gossip....

Or are you just relying on your old tricks of sly digs and unsubtle inuenedo, with not one shred of objective evidence?

I`m all for freedom of speech as thankfully sometimes it allows people to stand up waving their flags whilst show their true colours, and others to freely see them for what they are, without needing to interact at all. brilliant.

Nail and head stu  nail and head

One or two on here are actually Developers  thats why its bad for them to allow anything thats wrong about buying here out there, ooops to late   but they hide it pretty much as all Developers do especially now, hence the panic mode re Conor, as its moving into the last stages. Some are actually changing their stance on the Conor issue I see

I would totally ignore remarks from these people it then reduces them and any effect even further than it presently is which is basically talking to one person other than themselves. Arguing with or reasoning with these types, fuels their flames if you follow my drift, ignore is the worst possible thing for them on a Forum as their need to be agreed with and answered is paramount. Try it and see, the flame dies. Most here adopt that attitude. Its never about nationalities but personalities on a Forum, those that don,t wish that cry about them and us when it suits. Its a small club on here as opposed to forums in Cyprus but its got some very good issues on it that I never join in on but am a fervent reader of.

Forums need a balance this one was heavily onesided good posters leave, newbies ask a question that are ridiculed, and still the ones causing all the problems stay put and end up believing what they spout as there is no-one left bothered to tell him to push off .   I expect sometimes to upset a few and am never surprised that I am able, but these people go for everyone other than a specific few which IMHO stops this Forum from growing and changing with the times.

Another point is the need to overstep Forum boundaries say you piece and then get the thread locked. An unchallenged last post makes them seem like they posted correctly. Which of course they did,nt. It also appears that the subject is always heated which gets it locked, no its just another case of them not liking others opinions so purposefully getting the thread out of hand and then locked to stop others from reading it.

Moderators have no choice but to lock.

No one is behind bars. Judgement has been given. A fine and two suspended sentences.

Nothing sly; unless you are suspicious of direct questions. The same one he avoided answering when he was spreading his side of the story all over this forum. I believe it was on the early versions of his website proclaiming his "decency" as an ex-serviceman or something akin. Maybe it's been removed now that questions are being asked -- don't care enough to check any of his updated/'refined' self-promotional websites.

The other direct question he avoided answering, before he slithered off, was regarding why his local MP did not support him?

He should have spent longer assessing Cyprus, honestly and logically before rushing to accuse the whole operation. No doubt he will find that Justice will be done, and if he doesn't like the results, he can take them to the EU and higher Courts, maybe even the UK High Courts. There he will find that the Cypriot Courts are respected and our laws and judgements upheld and reinforced. A little tip from the Orams.

Anyway, since my thread has been deleted, which stated how boring all these Bricks and Mortar obsessed Brits' builders' bazaars are, spoiling the General Chat threads, turning the whole forum into a catalogue of reasons why they only care for Cyprus for as much as they can squeeze in compensations and freebies -- I shall re-iterate my disinterest in this whole matter. One thread fine, two OK but the money-hungry Brits turning homes into financial gains are too uncouth for further tolerance!

Karayianas and his son got a suspended sentence (10 months for 2 years) and the 3rd man for a €2000 fine.

Bet conor is reeling!

As we said, my darling -- Justice will be done and if Conor doesn't like Cypriot Courts' fairness, let's see him take the judgement to the European and UK Courts -- like the Orams did!

Time to bulldoze all those developments, pay-off all the whingers and heal Cyprus with nationalised Eco-Agro tourist fields and forests. :D
