So you admit that the TCs are EU citizens, whether they had asked for it or not, with or without their say so.

Not 100% as they do not have to abide by what the EU tells them, they can tell them to fuck tomorrow with no ramifications as we do not have to adhere to what they try to impose on us due to the no control of the "RoC" which is in the EU and their power is only over 63% of the island.

They are not similar what so ever. The AP was a partition plan as well as violating all the EU principles, but just on the GCs.

How you asked the EU to accept the AP of 2004 yet for today's settlement talks, and if so, what have they told you.?

Why did the EU approve the AP?

Were their representatives at all the meetings on each subject/sector involved?

The grandfathered issue was actually directly or indirectly in the plan, that did not allow the GC population increase faster than the TC population until and when the two economies leveled out.

Only in your imagination. I know it makes you sleep better at night in believing what you write, but it isn't so. You screwed up big time in 2004 with all your outrageous demands. It's time you have come to terms with the reality. Next time try to be more realistic with your demands. Cyprus now has Gas & Oil. You think the EU wants to turn these to Turkey by kicking Cyprus out.? Not on your life.

There will not be a next time...this is it forever, time you accepted this fact.

It's not up to you, we'll let you know when time is up. Sovereign land is still under occupation, this will end when we stop making an issue out of this.

EU presidency coming up next year and we might be a little busy setting the agenda for the EUs priorities during that period, so best be on your best behaviour. I expect Erdogan to stand to attention at larnaca airport.

I am going to tell you why there will not be a solution to the Cyprus problem in our lifetime...In 1963 Makarios made a stupid move to force the GC will down the TC throats...The TCs refused to swollow the snake oil, hence a bitter struggle began...This has continued more or less unchanged since 63...It is now the GC and Greek world's will against the TC and Turkish world's will...The first one who blinks know that all will be lost, the past 50 years pain and suffering would be for nothing...
Hence no one is going to budge...

The mistake the GC side is making is to believe that their cause can be advanced by pure political and international judiciary moves, tricks, arguments...Hence they have not bothered to work on the human aspects of the equation, the empathy,compassion,understanding,respect,trust...As the 'official' guardians of the RoC state power it is their responsibility and duty to address the human issues...

Most forumers here are making the same mistake...They are totally ignoring the essential ingredients if we are going to create a melting pot of two warring communties and nations...While bitterness, mistrust ,and suspicion continues unabated there will be no solution. Some people here and elsewhere seem to have missed that point...
