The Official Bagis the Clown Thread

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Bağış says recognizes no power that can arrest Turkish ministers.

Turkish European Union Affairs Minister Egemen Bağış has said he is confident regarding a Swiss investigation into his statements regarding allegations of an Armenian genocide as he does not know of any power that can arrest a minister of Turkey after a Swiss prosecutor launched an investigation on Monday in Zurich.

As long as Bagis has Diplomatic Immunity, he can say what he wants and be as cavalier as he wants, and he won't be arrested, however, if he is found guilty of the charges by the Swiss, the Swiss will ban Bagis from entering the country ever again, regardless of his Diplomatic Immunity status, which he likes to hide behind it with his such Big Talks.

What a man?

He thinks he is the top dog. This is his response to all the naysayer.

"I know of no power that could arrest a Turkish minister," Bağış said. "If need be, I'll go back to Davos and say it again."

"Obviously this is at the initial probe stage right now. There isn't any official documentation on it that has reached me yet. We have fought for the freedom of speech, we are fighting for it, and we will fight for it," (outside of Turkey is that?)

Asked if Ministers from the Republic visit Turkey on EU business during the CY Term presidency, Bagis the Clown replied...

“The Greek Cypriot foreign minister can come to Turkey as a tourist. Turkey’s doors are open to everyone. Our businesses and shops would be pleased to serve the Greek Cypriot foreign minister,” he added.

Maybe The Clown will give up the Circus Work and become a shop-keeper.

Bagis should learn this old saying, because he is going to need it when the time comes.

"Be careful on whose toes you step on today, because they may belong to the ones ass you want to kiss tomorrow"!

End this visa nonsense, Bağış tells EU
ISTANBUL

Turkish European Union Minister Egemen Bağış sent a clear message to the union yesterday, telling them to "end the nonsense" on visa requirements for Turkey, private broadcaster NTV reported on its website.

Bağış spoke at the Turkey-EU Parliamentary Commission meeting in Istanbul, saying it was unacceptable for Turkish people to be put through visa regulations when European Union nationals do not need visas to visit member states.

"Turkey's position in the world today clearly does not deserve these visa applications," Bağış said. "I ask you to send strong messages to the European Parliament to end this."

This guy's elevator most definitely does not go all the way to the top.

Someone should remind Bagis, that Turkey is not a EU member or it ever will be one for that matter if Turkey does not comply with EU's requirements for EU membership, and the fact that most member candidates do not/did not require visa's to enter EU member states, it's because they accepted the conditions the EU laid down for them to become EU members, unlike Turkey who thinks these EU conditions for EU membership does not apply to them, like accepting the "Ankara Protocol" for example, even if we are to ignore Turkey making threats towards an already EU member state as well as occupying parts of that said EU member state. Is there no end to the "village idiot" diplomacy from this armature?

And what exactly is this "Turkey's position in the world" claims, that warrants for her to get anything she wants without playing by the rules. The fact that Turkey does not gets what she wants from the EU when she wants it, should tell Bagis that Turkey's position in the world is not what he thinks it is.

I meant to say "amateur" btw, of Bagis, just because, an "armature" is far more effective and efficient than Bagis could ever be.

This is his counter to the EP parliament's call for Turkey to return of Varosha to its lawful owners.

This guy is a schoolboy and I bet any other intern could do a better job.

Another curious statement from Bagis the Clown reported in the Fam Gazette today...

BAGIS, the Turkish EU Minister and Chief Negotiator, has alleged that Cyprus is already integrated to Turkey with pipelines carrying water and electricity, but if no solution to the Cyprus problem is reached and the “TRNC”, breakaway regime wants to be integrated with Turkey, Ankara will "think about it".

Leaving aside the nonsense about annexation, Bagis seems to think that there are pipelines from the "motherland" supplying the Occupied Areas with water and electricity! What a Clown!!!

Bagis today in worldbulletin.net...

He also said that his country remains committed to the accession talks with the European Union and believes it can join within a decade.

What a Clown!
