Kurupetos if you are a genuine Cypriot, how can you say that, you should be ashamed of your self.

Bravo reh Lordo. Na eeseh gala file.

Boys and girls... can add this to anything have said about this protest...

Some have said this action is controlled by "tcs", others have said that "gcs" are behind it, (and these reports appear in equal measure) which might lead the sane amongst us to the wise conclusion that the people behind it are just Cs.

For CY it's an unusual protest, a fresh approach to protest, but you'll all have seen that this anti-capitalist model has become the normal mode of protest for this generation the world over.

Please don't be like the members of the Nicosia Municipality who were so quick to condemn the message by the appearance of the messengers.

... and can tell you these boys and girls have the energy of youth and they will persist, and it's no secret that more will join in over Xmas, and they have plans to spread the End of Divisions message in to the Blockaded Minds in the rest of CY.

Please have a think about helping them out with a few supplies.

Some recent news from the Occupation...

There are many Cypriots from the North staying at the camp tonight to boycott what they feel will be a fixed census tomorrow. This is legal as you are "out of the country." This is an invitation to join them. Bring your tents!

Sounds like they'll have to ask the UN to expand the buffer zone. ... :D

Nothing of note to report from the #Occupy Buffer Zone in Ledras today but some Action later this week by the London spin-off may be of interest...

The London group writes...

Finally we are going to meet at 18.00 o'clock at Moorgate station on Thursday (8th of Dec.) and than we will walk to the occupied UBS building.
Please spread the event to the all interested parties.
A guy from St. Paul also said that we can use the microphone to address the audiences during the weekend assembly and inform everyone about OBZ movement in Cyprus

(the ref to St Paul is to the #occupy camp outside the Cathedral which has been going on for weeks)

They will also be giving out flyers.

More on the work of this London group at... http://www.facebook.com/OccupyGreenLine.UK and also on a blog at... http://occupyinvisiblegreenline.blogspot.com/

Please be there ON TIME! :)

(erm... believe the "Bank of Ideas" is a "public repossession" of an empty UBS building near the City)

Today's update on the situation over at the Occupy the Buffer Zone at the top end of Ledras.

The occupation carries on through what is described as "rain and thunder". Brave CY souls indeed.

There is now what is called "a roof" over part of the site.

For turkish readers there is a warming article at the Reportare site...

http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A ... TaXx8OBivQ

The article has been translated in to English and here is the first para...

Mischievous Children of the Buffer Zone

I call them mischievous children of the Buffer Zone. Coming out of the ruling area of the authorities in the north and the south, they sought refuge in humanity. In their divided country, the UN controlled buffer zone became a precious living ground where notions like religion, language, nationality, hierarchy, and authority were destroyed. Rejecting the status-quo, they are trying to build a life as they believe "should be". Neither Turkish, nor Greek. A Cypriot life.

(You are very welcome RW.)

From the occupiers today a reminder that they are part of the much larger Global #Occupy Movement and will joining in marking an International Day of Action for Global Change.

More on this action at ... http://www.occupytogether.org/2011/12/0 ... balchange/

Here is the first para from that site, which may give CF an idea of the broader base of the Occupy the Buffer Zone group in CY...

Global civil society is being threatened by a system based on power and not on human values. Day after day it represses basic freedoms and consistently favors the greed of the few over the needs of the many. This power finances wars, food and pharmaceutical monopolies, it sponsors dictatorial regimes across the globe, destroying environments, manipulating and censoring information flow and transparency.

The International Day of Action is tomorrow Saturday 10th December.

So I wonder what will happen 12/12/2012 then that will allow for the shift in consciousness to occur? That's if you believe in New Age stuff.
