Occupy The Buffer Zone

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I hope it doesn't happen, but a few of the protesters shot by one of the three forces ranged against them would get it in the news!

Here's a nice picky for a quiet Sunday evening.

This is the Activity Centre in the Buffer Zone.

A reminder that it is in the ownership of the Kykko Monastery and that a few days ago the police of the Free Areas along with the Monastery tried to evict the Occupiers and doubtless we'll see more on this in the next few days,

... which is a shame cos as some of you will know Kykko has a very fine 1,000 year old tradition in the Liberation Struggle, right up to giving sanctuary and succour to the fighters of the '50s and also to Big Mak during his flight from the Greek Coupists of '74.

Really to be regretted that Kykko can't show the same support to this new way of fighting the Struggle, not by giving its leave cos Occupations and Protest don't need permissions but by giving its Blessing by way of taking no steps, to do nothing to hinder the action.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

interesting how a piece of cloth for some individuals with no brains is more important than a human life.

Especially in a battlefield where you have been warned many times to leave and not climb up a flag pole and try to degrade a flag which is very sacred to the majority of people you are fighting with.

Erm... bad news for you afraid VP... no one is shooting anyone... there have been friendly games and chat between the Occupiers and the very bored UNPol and the even more bored TA sentries.

Hear they'll be a game of frisbee in the Buffer Zone tomorrow.

There's the power of non-violent protest for you... :D

apparently it was reported here that most occupybufferzone Cypriots are of a Turkish Cypriot background. I wonder why not many GC's have not gone? Interesting if we are numerically nearly ten times their population how come we'r e so overwhelmingly lower in numbers?
