Why Turkey is the wise choice to handle Cypriot oil/gas...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

And btw, GR, if Turkey did what you asked for, what will happen once the Gas & Oil runs out in the future?

Professional prospecting reports would answer questions pertaining to quantity, longevity, and all that which would no doubt form part of this deal and be taken into consideration. (for which I have no info)

Lets say that your offer is accepted in full, I still think a secondary pipes should be laid to Greece from Cyprus, just to keep Turkey honest to honour her agreements. Why do you think Russia is building a second pipeline to Europe through Turkey's EEZ in the Black sea when they already have a pipeline going through Ukraine? Well, it's to keep Ukraine honest to honour her agreements with Russia, that's all.

Well, if the RoC wants to have alternative plans they can I suppose but they should be careful not to raise suspicions with Turkey and end up with a sour deal and collapse.

It’s important to remember that Turkey HATES Greece so anything involving Greece will no doubt be met with Turkish intransigence and resistance.

Once there are pipes going to Greece also, then Cyprus can play one against the other to get the best deal on the transitional fees. Much like what Russia is planning to do with Ukraine and Turkey.

This keeps Greece honest also, because both Turkey and Greece will know what the penalty will be if they tried to do extortion on the RoC.

I welcome MR-from-NG back on the CF and hope he’ll stick around to voice his alternative views no matter how painful the road to justice may seem because Cyprus is worth it!

Cyprus is the Alpha and the Omega of our very existence and we are not here today by accident… for it is our privilege to SAVE Cyprus in these challenging times for ourselves and future Cypriot generations!

All the tiny little things that were happening in our childhood on Cyprus that seemed insignificant at the time… THAT was Cypriotness!

From what we ate to what we said to what we did… THAT was all Cypriotness!

From what we sung to how we played and what we dreamed… THAT was Cypriotness!

SO NENER EVER FORGET CYPRIOTNESS!

You and I know what I’m talking about…

Clearly you don't know Turkey. Why should they settle for milk when they want the cow?

The cow is already on offer in my plan… billions and billions worth of natural resources flowing through pipelines for decades to come! Please note that Aphrodite is only the beginning… I have read estimates of other oil/gas fields being far larger than Aphrodite!

I don’t know if the government of Cyprus is capable of playing such games and coming out on top… :)

I hope that if such a plan ever comes to pass they'll stick by their commitments and see it through for everyone's sake...

You think they don’t know they’re fucked beyond redemption unless a miracle happens?

Where have you been? Can’t you see what’s happening there?

The “TRNC” leadership wants to privatize the telecommunications and electricity entities.

Do you know what that means? It means that Turkish companies will now surely take over the reigns of the most powerful “TRNC” services.

In other words, Turkish Cypriots are being booted OUT of influential posts and replaced by loyalists from the “motherland”!

It’s all a necessary preparation for the complete engulfment of lukewarm Turks!

...thanks GR, this is the kind of thinking which may bring an end to our Problem. Turkey knows, as allies, she has no better than Greece and Cyprus, this is geography; the interest to best exploit the resources, and the issue of security now has common bonds.

You got to admit that this plan is one of the smartest ever, and to date we have not heard of any better ideas.

Just some minor tweaking required and improvement. For example, Turkey should pay for our gas, but we can make Turkey an EU energy hub and I think that is something that would interest them.

It is typical how all the Hellenist traitors jump on GR's back and flame him for doing one better than them, which is to think outside the square and for coming up with fresh ideas that no Cypriot has seen so far from their leaders.

My simple logic…

Ok, so our government has found heaps of fossil shit sitting on the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea and we are told this fossil crap is worth billions if not trillions of dollars! :?

Ok Turkey, come take some of this fossil shit and kindly return my precious territory back!

You like the fossil shit Turkey? Ok, take it! I didn’t have this fossil shit before so who cares anyway!

Everyone… get in line and take some of this fossil shit and shove it up your bums if it means that my country is liberated!

Thank you!

PS: Henceforth I will light a candle to honor St Fossil every year!

Either buy Turkey directly or buy the Turkish Cypriots. All you need is cash.
