Iran won’t halt strikes until after Israel pays reparations — National Security Council

TEHRAN, June 19. /TASS/. Iran won’t stop strikes until after Israel is punished and pays reparations, Iran's Supreme National Security Council said in a statement.

"Retaliation will continue until the enemy is punished and reparations are paid," the statement said, the IRNA news agency reported.

The council warned that Iran will retaliate immediately to any country that will step in the conflict on the side of Israel.

In the past couple of weeks the UN body tasked with monitoring Iran's compliance re nuclear material matters has both reported that the nation has not complied with their inspection criteria and that they believe Iran has amassed sufficient plutonium of pure enough strength to produce a minimum of 10 nuclear warheads.

Iran’s missile strike devastation leaves Israelis regretful for attacking…

Israel's National Security Minister (Itamar Ben-Gvir) blames Mossad Chief (David Barnea) for escalating conflict with Iran amid the destruction caused by Iranian missile strikes.

The incident took place in the ashes of one of the destroyed buildings in the city center.

Ben-Gvir lashed out at Barnea with sharp accusations. “Why did you provoke Iran?!” the minister shouted, pointing to the intelligence community’s failure to anticipate the scale of the Iranian response.

Having lived and worked in Iran for over four years, I think it true to say that if you had my knowledge of the people, the terrain and the remoteness of 99%+ of that land mass you would realize that the IDF can cover only a fraction of that area. Whereas Iran can cover virtually the whole of Israel with a relatively small air force.

But their missile technology seems pretty good!

A comment: Instead of spouting opinion try going back to the 1950's and the democratic time of Mossadeqh! It was the USA and UK that destroyed that democracy and put the Shah in power and all because Mossadeqh nationalised the oil/gas industry. The Shah killed thousands of his own people by machine gunning Muslim's leaving the Mosque after Friday prayers and it was that which saw the Shah dethroned! Then came the US revenge backed Iran/Iraq War! I have listened to many stories of both the Shah's reign and the war that followed by those who were there at the time and had the scars to prove it

As a people I found them highly intelligent, very polite and very friendly ....... and Teheran is (was) a beautiful and safe city. Stop believing all you read in the Guardian.

By the way Iran did not attack that hospital they attacked the military compound a few metres away ...... the hospital suffered only blast damage......... it's the Zionists that deliberately bomb hospitals and other civilian targets because, as everyone knows all those doctors, nurses and patients are actually HAMAS in disguise!
