Would it be some cave in Pakistan or the continent of choice, Europe. I can image these hypocrites trying to cross the border to claim political asylum in Greece.

How ironic would it be if he gets detained in the EU and handed over to the new Turkish government on trumped up terrorist charges and embezzlement.

It is no secret that Erdogan is Putin’s Trojan Horse in NATO, so, if Erdogan gets kicked out of office next year despite rigging the elections, he and his henchmen will find refuge in Russia with the stolen Turkish treasury in the billions. They will become the new oligarchs!

With the war in Ukraine, relationship between Russia and the West will be frozen for long time, therefore, no one can expect Russia to extradite anyone from there.

Yeah, he may go to some brotherly country to hide, but those countries can easily be bribed by the West to turn him in. :D

You hit the nail on the head kiks.

I said from a long time ago that Erdogan and his cronies will not allow a peaceful transition of power or he will become a fugitive to avoid justice.

He destroyed everything from human rights to the economy, incarcerated 100's of thousands, squandered and plundered the central bank and will do a runner.

He deserves to be tried and sentenced under sharia law and I hope they catch his deluded foreign minister as well.

...more details of Turkey's intentions in Syria (and if you read between the lines, in Iraq and Iran).

..."a fully secured border"

Like "Blue Homeland" such a Policy concerns all of Turkey's frontiers.

Economic pundits are predicting inflation to move beyond 100%.

Erdos war on interest rates and his neighbors is irking markets something rotten.

I hope justice wins out in the end and the new administration puts him in a smelly Turkish jail cell.

Surely Greece has been a far better Trojan horse for Russia than Turkey. Check her history. All the Russians have to say is jump and the Greeks ask how high.

meanwhile...

ALEPPO, Syria — The Turkish army on May 21 withdrew excavation equipment from the vicinity of Tadef, in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, after the city’s inhabitants objected to the digging of a military trench that would divide their neighborhoods and prevent some from reaching their agricultural lands in the city’s surrounding areas under the Syrian regime's control.

...a "defensive" position cuts off citizens (thousands) from their land to the benefit of their aggressor; this, Turkey's "safe zone".

This is my "favorite" part.

Turkey’s military operations in no way threaten the sovereignty of neighbouring countries, the National Security Council statement added.

Its like saying, when a Turk breaks in to your house with a gun, it no way means they are trespassing or a threat to you.

These Turkish politicians are full of it.

Iraqi Turks knew exactly what Turkey about which is why they did not ask for help from the Turks. Same cannot be said about the Syrian Turks. They are not so smart.
