...real evidence of war crimes.

"It is surreal, how can I process the fact the man being killed in the video is my brother," asks Tasnim Siyam.

Russia resumes northwest Syria bombing campaign.

Russia has resumed heavy airstrikes on opposition-held areas in Syria’s northwestern province of Idlib. On July 22, Russian warplanes killed seven people in the Jisr al-Shughur countryside, five of them children. The strike coincided with artillery and missile shelling by the Syrian government forces in southern Idlib. Khaled al-Khateb reports that “opposition circles in northwestern Syria fear the escalation may be a prelude to a large-scale military operation by the government forces.”

Among the dead were Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese attempting to flee crisis-hit Lebanon, to reach Cyprus by sea for a better future in Europe.

Around twenty migrants who managed to survive the shipwreck are now being cared for in Syria.

...Cyprus bound.

At the end of her speech, she said: "the issue of changing the language and other practices indicates that Turkey is trying with all its capabilities before the centenary of Lausanne Agreement to include them in its new map, therefor, all Syrians should do everything against these ambitions that Turkey is seeking with all seriousness."

''The Air Force said Friday that a KC-135 Stratotanker's peculiar flight path, which aviation enthusiasts said resembled the shape of a penis while flying close to a Russian base in Syria, was not intentional.''

...where have we seen this before?

Iraq?
Afghanistan?
Syria?
Yemen?

The Ukranians have got Nato Backing them. They hit Russian forces and Russian territory too and they will be hit back. The real even will take place next spring, quite why they have to wait that long is not easy to understand. The Nato weapons they are using work in winter too. When Russia flattens them, they will only complain.

There was an interesting meeting in Skegness few days ago, with the residents up in arms about the fact that refugees are being housed in hotels in their area. A Ukranian woman stood up and asked why there was no such animosity when the Ukranian refugees were not objected to.

Interesting question?

Of course, there are no restriction on Ukranian refugees they are allowed to work whereas those of a darker skin complexion are not. They must make do with the 8 pounds a week and a few plates of food supplied by the hotel.

What a world we live in. There is no racism in the UK or at least that's what we are told. And I believe them.

Been doing your usual research then Lordo? Before firing off the bog-standard indignant accusations. Although, you don't do anti-UK (Swineland) right? You just do the Conservative establishment.

There are approximately 37,000 illegal immigrants being housed in UK hotels. Presently it's costing the UK taxpayer two thousand million pounds per year. That, at a time when - as you so often point out - people are struggling to pay their bills and there are over a quarter of a million homeless.

The people of Skegness aren't alone in complaining. It's got to the point where immigrants are now being housed in seaside hotels normally used by tourists, from which the towns traditionally get their income.

The difference between Ukrainian refugees and the hotel dwellers is the former are legal the latter not. Nothing to do with skin colour

It's estimated that this year alone 50,000 people will have crossed the channel in boats to enter the UK illegally. That's otherwise known as an industry. The vast majority of them picked up by UK Border patrols and ferried. Most of them are young males and all of them having crossed a significant part, or in fact all, of the European continent to get there. They are not refugees fleeing war and persecution. That has lately included about 12000 Albanians (NATO and currently acceding to EU membership). They could get a visa from Albania for a fraction of the trafficers' cost...............................if they've got a clean record. Think about it.

The allowance for illegal immigrants, who are being given full board and lodging in hotels, is indeed £8 a week - do you think they should get an hourly rate? - but they're eligible for things such as free healthcare. The emphasis is on "free" because none of them have paid a penny in UK taxes.

There's racism in all countries to some extent or another but on the whole the UK's fairly tolerant, despite your best (repeated) efforts to make it seem like 1930s Germany. There are, for instance, 130,000 Turkish Cypriots living there and something like 300,000 born or of dual heritage. The UK's a very cosmopolitan country and in fact just this week it was reported that in London and Birmingham white people now constitute a minority.

Seriously - you really would be much happier in your TRNC.
