While watching the last few hundred meters I thought to myself… what the fuck are they doing? Just leaning off a stupid piece of fiberglass and probably thinking…

“Look at me, look at me! I’m leaning off the board and now I’m gonna lean on the other side!”

Congratulations to Pavlos and the Cypriot Olypmic Team.

That puts the mighty Cyprus above Greece (2 bronze) and Turkey (zero medals :oops:

) in the medal table.

Just you try it, one day. On a decent reach in decent blow the adrenalin rush can me massive....and you have to be fit to sit out like they do for extened periods of time on the wind-ward legs of the course. Then you have to learn to read the winds, tides and currents.
