The child MUST excel the parent. Otherwise, there would be no progress

The child MUST make it's own way in the world, independent of the alleged parent

But who is the parent and who is the child? Cousins may be,

All modern psychologists and sociologists agree that the tight family bonds met in the Mediterranean countries contribute to more healthy children AND societies! They also agree that the Anglo Saxon way of throwing the children out into the jungle unsupported as of the age of 16-18 has failed miserably.

And furthermore, according to Greek (and Mediterranean) social tradition, the child MUST look after the parent if need calls :D

As at 8th August.

Anglo Saxons ( Team GB) 22 golds and a total of 48 medals

South Cyprus 1 silver and a total of 1 medal !

I think the Anglo Saxon system seems to be a bit more successful !!!!

Anglo saxons did you say? Have you ever seen the pictures of the athletes of team GB?
And out of the rest, how many English, how many Scots, how many Welsh and how many Irish?
And you compare the UK with the 700000 Greek Cypriots? Shouldn't you rather compare it to the 75 millions of Turkey?
