GR,are you complaining or bragging? Either way, you won't get any sympathy from me.
As for the NG reservists... I was 20 years old back in 1974, an active NG officer and fraught the turks
while you was still in your father's balls... swimming away!

Just because he's right about drugs doesn't mean he's Greek.

fact: marijuana causes permanent brain damage, paranoia and possible brain tumors because of brain cell increase. Marijuana also causes the heart to beat faster and the blood pressure to drop which can possibly cause a heart attack.
What doesn't necessarily kill you doesn't mean that it's not bad for health. Yes, I am aware that marijuana can sometimes help people with specific conditions to recover but that doesn't justify its use. It has too many negative effects. Do not forget that it can damage your lungs just like tobacco does. Marijuana is as dangerous (if not more dangerous) than tobacco as studies have shown.

Although one study found that marijuana smokers were three times more likely to develop cancer of the head or neck than non-smokers, that study could not be confirmed by further analysis.
Because marijuana smoke contains three times the amount of tar found in tobacco smoke and 50 percent more carcinogens, it would seem logical to deduce that there is an increased risk of lung cancer for marijuana smokers. However, researchers have not been able to definitively prove such a link because their studies have not been able to adjust for tobacco smoking and other factors that might also increase the risk.

Studies linking marijuana smoking to lung cancer have also been limited by selection bias and small sample size. For example, the participants in those studies may have been too young to have developed lung cancer yet. Even though researchers have yet to "prove" a link between smoking pot and lung cancer, regular smokers may want to consider the risk.

Smoking marijuana, even infrequently, can cause burning and stinging of the mouth and throat, and cause heavy coughing. Scientists have found that regular marijuana smokers can experience the same respiratory problems as tobacco smokers do, including:
Most marijuana smokers consume a lot less cannabis than cigarette smokers consume tobacco, however the harmful effects of smoking marijuana should not be ignored. Marijuana contains more carcinogenic hydrocarbons than tobacco smoke and because marijuana smokers typically inhale deeper and hold the smoke in their lungs longer than tobacco smokers, their lungs are exposed to those carcinogenic properties longer, when smoking.

Ermmmm, Howard Marx crashed his car whilst smoking pot....... There in his film 'Mr. Nice'!
In fact he spectacularly crashed it, but he walked away with not so much as a scratch, then went dancing in an Irish pub

Pot smoking doesn't necessarily lead onto other drugs. That depends on the genetic make up of the person. If a person has addictive traits, it may happen.
Many an intelligent, contributing member of society smoke pot, none of them have brain damage!

Ask any crippled with disease, or injuries how it helps them get through the day. Highly unlikely they will turn into drug addicts.

Some information can make so ill informed.
Alcohol however, causes far more disease, and health conditions....on the other hand, as with anything, in moderation can be very beneficial.

I dont smoke pot, nor smoke. I rarely drink either. Just incase anyone wishes to cast assumptions.
