1. What’s a Diavivastis doing on the front line like 5-mili? You shouldn’t be on the front line.

2. What personal weapon were you issued with as a Diavivastis?

3. What was your rank prior to becoming a Anthibolohagos and where did you go to attain it?

4. Why did you take so long to respond to this? You should be able to answer such basic things instantly on the fly.

Wher were you?

A 9 year old caught up in Tymbou.

I was at the Proti anotera taktiki diokisi which has also pesiko merged with us.
We were delivering batteries and asyrmatous at the front lines for communications.
At Karaolos camp we were hit with direct machine gun fire.
I counted 18 bullet holes on the side of the Land rover.

I am working right now in Toronto... it's about 1:12 pm. I type this answer on my lunch break.

Those GCs displaced are doing it around the world instead. Those displaced are pediatricians, engineers, solicitors etc etc

No good being a melon farmer in the UK ;)

Flying Horse is a new member, just for the RECORD.
I present to you what I've being saying for nearly a decade.

They are doing it....., and I quote 'AROUND THE WORLD'
They can't seem to do it in Cyprus and they sure as hell can't seem to do it in Greece either.

Yet they're doing it 'AROUND THE WORLD'

Thank you FH

I can only speak of what I know.

Put it this way, Cyprus is strong all over the world. Her people may not be with her, but they certainly aren't weakened or diluted by the countries they live in.
One day, I might tell you the tale of a pediatric surgeon, who happens to be the Cypriot honorary consul in Scotland. What happened when he took a moment of his very very busy time, to help a stranger find whats left of her Cypriot relatives(haven't found them yet) was truly amazing ....

Being a Cypriot nationalist, I would like to hear your story.
Our people are cream of the crop, but according to me, our best have left the country and our talented youth are planning to leave.
when you're intellectually gifted or talented you are certain to leave for a place that will appreciate your talents, preferably a MERITOCRATIC civilization like the Anglo American countries.

Cypriots of the Diaspora put up your hands.

Australia?
South Africa?
United States?
Canada?
Great Britain?

You're still THERE though!
Nostalgic maybe? Of Course you are!
Patriotic? Oh for sure!
But you aint trading the life of MERITOCRACY and prosperity to one of Greek engineered corruption, nepotism and 3rd world mentality, correct?

Flying Horse, you still with your adopted country? You have a good life yes?

Cypriots are not the smartest people as GR might think.
I support medical marijuana use only. Recreational use to be limited for 25 years or older
and in small amounts. Israel has been in marijuana testing and use to patients for over 20 years.
For those who reject marijuana use, watch this movie and judge for yourself. Ignorance is not an option!

I'm with you dude.
These guys are still living in their Greek bubble. (literally still stuck in the dark ages, just watch ERT) .....

You will never see Greek scientists, engineers or doctors in a documentary testing a new concept, idea or technological breakthrough to benefit the Greek/ Cypriot people.
You will always see them with a Bouzouki in one hand, some ancient narrator talking about some sheep herder who founded a village in the Peloponnese in 1853 dodging the Ottomans.....whilst some unheard of group is dancing the Sirtaki around a wooden table.

JUST WATCH ERT!
Oh, and I'm sure you've got it in Toronto.
ERT, keeping Greeks dumb since 1938

ERT was one of the most corrupted institutions of the Greek public sector. Their unions thought ERT was untouchable... wrong!
Their union leaders were convinced... they made it for life (high salaries, bonuses etc)... wrong!

ERT programming, as you suggested, was literally useless, bias and of very low intelligence.

Greeks are just followers, not leaders in all aspects of life... pity.
Yet, hey, we think we are the best out there... wrong!

We’re not really getting those answers George and you could’ve wrapped this up in just 2-3 minutes if you could… yet you have plenty of time for something as crappy as ERT!

Btw, what was the name of your Dikitis?
