Happy?! ....sometimes "idiots" or "idiot" actions are needed.
EOKA heroes of 1955-59 were also "idiots" for fighting against the great British empire?

Probably Matsakis has his reasons.

So now you compare Matsakis with the EOKA fighters!! (i do hope you mean the original EOKA)
The man is an idiot ..if he was not an idiot Cypriots woulnt have voted him for Parliament..:))))

Nicko keep out of this...:)

Alex, I do not compare anything. I just said that for some people EOKA fighters were "idiots". If I mean the original EOKA or not, you will find out if you read my previous post c a r e f u l l y.

Only God knows if that man is idiot or not.
I didn't vote for Matsakis, but those who voted for him are concidered idiots?

It would not be expansionism if TCs willingly rejoin the RoC or any future unified state.

Oh, I see. So if they unwillingly accept legality and to return what they stole from us that would be "expansionism" of RoC, while the illegal occupation of Turkey with 40,000 troops of the north part of RoC is according to you not expansionism of Turkey.

So, some others create something and live in an area for 1000s of years. Then the Turks/Ottomans invade and grab that land, and this according to bg_turk is not an expansionism. Then if those lands are liberated this is an expansionism according to bg_turk.

Based on this "logic" the Turks/Ottomans are the victims and the people that got liberated from them are the expansionistic monsters. Do you understand how ridiculous your propaganda sounds?

Yes, lets vote some EOKA-B traitors instead like Karas and Samson ...
Are those that vote for such people just idiots? I think many of them are something much worst than that.

The comment was a general one...i picked on those 2 not because i wanted tp leave others out but because they stick out in their simplistic demagogy.Infact if you want my opinion, most of our MPs Ministers etc would in a politically mature country, not had been elected or appointed even as azas of Trashipedoula in my native Paphos...

Yes. I believe this phenomenon is due to 3 reasons: 1) Our population is not that big. The smaller the population the harder to find the charismatic leaders. 2) Rousfeti. Many people vote those that will make them the favors instead of those that are worthy. 3) Internal party connections. Those that become candidates are those that have good connections inside the party which more often than not are ass lickers.

This is why I will vote for Perdikis in next elections. I agree with most of his positions, he is active, he doesn't seem like a rousfeti kind of person and since his party is a small one he doesn't need all that internal party crap. Too bad the Greens do not have anybody else of his caliber.

it doesnt surprise me...with Turkey knowing they have US and GB on their side...as well as the UN, they can do what the fuck they like. Just remember who's Turkey's biggest allies are and how their actions are just as morally wrong as Turkey's.

Fuck it...maybe we should reclaim that land back...a war looks like the only way we will get back what rightly belongs to us.

Maybe the countries you mention know a thing a two about GC policies and take TRC's side. You're a fool to think that you can go to war with the Turks. I hope that will never happen. If it does it would be suicide.

Yeah, the countries I mentioned know about Turkish policies and still take their side because they are all as corrupt as eachother. Talk about an entity of evil world leaders... USA, Great Britan, Israel and Turkey. All great buddies and all have a history of oppression on other people homes.

Anyway, Turks are no better then the settlers on the 'New Found Land'....where those peoples indigenous to the America's? no? Did they slaughter and ethnicly cleanse that land? yes....the same exact history of Turkey.
