Even if there is a Cyprus Nationalist movement, you assume that Turkey wont find a reason to want to intervene. They have said in the past even if Tc didnt exist they would have influence in Cyprus regardless..Or instead of having an issue of race Turk/Greek...it could have religious Christian/Muslim...or Rich/Poor...and on and on....

It's bloody ridiculous to assume someone's an extremist because he wants liberation of his country! :x

Right so where have we got...???

Well, the CF Golden Dumb supporters still think that all these neo-Nazi thugs need is a few lessons in styling and in PR...

... and as for the pollocks about "american mercenaries" ... well, it ain't worth commenting on.

Anyways, let's move on with more news on the sickening tactics of these "golden dawn" thugs.

Below is a link to a video of an account of a particularly disgusting knife attack by "gd" on a lady. This happened a day or two after the murder of Pavlos Fyssas. It's in Greek with English STs.

In summary, the girl gives the following account of her ordeal...

"...She describes how she had woken up that morning to find out that Fyssas had been killed and that she felt deep sorrow and a lot of anger.

She saw that the situation was getting out of control and felt that something was going to happen.

The next day she was heading home in Dafni, where she lives. Her taxi had left her on Frantzi Street and she was going to walk home from there.

She saw two men walking towards her. At first, she wasn't sure if they were Golden Dawn. They commented on the T-shirt she was wearing, which was anti-fascist. The t-shirt said the rap and hip hop scene is against fascism. She thanked them for their comment and continued walking.

The two men then grabbed her, took her aside and attacked her. One held her arms behind her back, the other pulled a knife and held it against her throat.

He told her, "There are more of us than you. You'll be taught not to wear T-shirts like that."

They told her that they, the anti-fascists, had become too confident. The man then kneed her in the leg, and punched her in the stomach. She suffered cuts to her face and arms.

At some point, a car came along and stopped. The men then let her go and hid the knife and then they left.

The whole incident lasted around five minutes..."

I hope you are being sarcastic in congratulating this type of non-sense reporting. This interview is as fake as it gets.

Spoken like a true busy body without a fact to marshal. You might have a point...if you'd made a point.

my point is that this "victim" does not follow any pattern of reporting a true violent crime committed against her. Her injuries are not consistent with the the attack she describes, they appear to be self-inflicted and acutely superficial for having been attacked by 2 men with knives. I sit in on victim intakes all the time, this was not a real one. She makes so many assumptions of why the attackers attacked her, rarely does a victim have such a clear vision of why her attackers did what they did. And her comments about her tshirt? rap and hip-hop are anti-fascist? come on.....I've never heard of a victim give this type of interview. Unfortunately for her, she gives GD supporters more fuel by creating this dramatic re-enactment of an event that more than likely did not happen. The reporter that conducted this interview should have been able to see through this and not have labeled this interview so dramatically as well.

Mate,

I was bloody having you on. I do not believe that Greece used American mercenaries!

Even a former Greek PM had an American accent. It us not uncommon in Greece.

But if they did, I can understand why they would do so. My main concern would be tge safety of the Greek Police Officers. They dis wear balaklavas so none could be identified because the risk they or their families would face can't be under estimated in my opinion.
So now we have Greek Special forces speaking English in an American accent to another Greek, really, you can see the absurdity of that can't you ?

No I really can't! I can see the absurdity to tactical response group police saying left, right, left as if they seem confused berween their left and right!

Just about every second person has an American accent in Greece!

Whoops missed again, "No I really can't! I can see the absurdity to tactical response group police saying left, right, left as if they seem confused berween their left and right!"
But it would be in GREEK, your avoidance of that is telling.

now we have "Just about every second person has an American accent in Greece!" such a sweeping statement of nonsense, much the same as your statement " and the vast majority of Greeks will have no issue either. Justice is sweet..."

I will repeat,If the VAST majority of Greeks have no issue, there would be no need for FOREIGN MERCENARIES

my point is that his tactic of calling for guerrilla warfare is too extreme for the Cypriot population, all other politicians were calling for negotiations...his rhetoric comes across as nationalistic to some...His exact words" They(Turkey) cannot commit genocide on Cypriots in a day, the world would have to intervene..ie Europe, West etc..in order to help free the homeland.

There are over 200 comments at the bottom of that article that gives an account of the disgusting behaviour of "golden dawn".

Here are some of the other 200+ comments...

...

Golden Dawn is the beginning of the end of democratic Greece. Once Hitler also came to power with democratic backing and we know how it all ended.

...

The Golden Dawn and its rise is a very disturbing and insidious phenomenon. This is a fascist organization that not only promotes Greek supremacy but also is implicated in violent, often deadly attacks against innocent people, Greeks as well as non Greeks.
Banning an organization which uses violence against people who do not agree with its views is not a violation of democratic principles and I am all in favour of the Greek authorities banning this dangerous organization.

...

The Nazis were uniformly jeered and laughed at for their swastikas and seen as absurd bully boys, as well as having little support and small numbers. Everyone underestimated their ruthlessness and resolve, and by then it was too late.

...

So.. she says it was a pen knife and because she wasn't seriously injured or horribly scarred (though you don't know how old those wounds are) you belittle a vicious and violent attack by referring to it as being paper-clipped? FFS
numpties... where do they come from?

...

Well done for showing this graun.. because there are still too many people around who think that GD are some kind of nasty but legitimate political party when they are, in fact. nothing but a bunch of paramilitary thugs who've been allowed by the kleptocrat govt (who thought they could use them to their own advantage) to gain a foothold in a society on the brink of collapse.
The girl is right that the recent media action is weird because for years no one said a damned word about GD, not even when the hundreds and hundreds of immigrants were attacked and one killed.. not when the communists were brutally beaten and not even in the immediate aftermath of Pavlos Fyssas' murder.. Not a week before Pavlos died, journalists on Skai were mooting the idea of Samaras working with the 'serious' elements of GD.
Now the bourgeois kleptocrats realise that in many parts of Athens, where unemployment has reached 90%, the communities now longer give a fuck about anything and this has given the neo nazis a chance to rise and now the plutocrats are scared.
Meanwhile, the rest of us have to deal with a bunch of dangerous thugs running round the streets attacking anyone they don't like the look of with impunity!

...

What snivelling little cowards too. It takes two blokes to beat up one girl and then they runaway as soon as 1 man stops to challenge them. it took fifty of them to go after Fyssas and when beating up immigrants they go round in packs of half a dozen and only ever pick on lone guys.
Fucking pathetic.. they go off and do military training and they couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag unless there is fifty of them and armed to the teeth.. to go pick on a girl.

...

... and there are dozens and dozens more.

these guys were a joke from the very beginning....and they proved it. they'll always have 3-4 percent, the media gave them enough attention in order to hang themselves..and they did

You are getting hysterical now. There are many well-known trolls on the Guardian (as there are here on CF) but if you read the woman's testimony, the timing, and look at the two little scratches which look like she was clumsy when sweeping back her hair, you can rise above the propaganda and not look even more like a twit when the truth is revealed.

"two little scratches" ...!!!

Here's another still of the girls's injuries, of her "two little scratches" ...

The Golden Numbskull "g"IG will be telling us next that these were also self-inflicted, whilst she was brushing her teeth...!!!

A kid playing with the family dog is likely to be scratched up worse and walk away with a smile on his face to go watch cartoons.
This is clearly sensationalized, and I aint no GD fan.

She's Greek yo, natural born bullshi**er.
How much did the British media pay her for the interview?
