At Last the Greek Gov Acts On Golden Dawn

Postby bill cobbett » Sat Sep 28, 2013 5:14 pm

It took the murder of a Greek and the back-lash from decent Greeks against it but finally the Greek Government has woken up from its slumber and taken some long-overdue action on the criminal activities of the fascist Golden Dawn Party.

The leader of the criminal conspiracy has been arrested along with 3 MPs and a dozen others.

Now perhaps we can also look forward to the prosecutors in CY acting against the spin-off ELAM, the new EOKA-B, where its activities cross the line into such areas as incitement to violence, or will the CY authorities wait for a death...!!!

Be careful what you wish for.

However, as I have been bleating for a while, GD have to emulate their sister Nationalist parties like UKIP and the Conservatives (stay away from Norwegian and French ones), wear nice suits and smile a lot, and then they can re-surface in the full spectrum of democracy to protect Greece from illegal immigrants and foreign meddling.

Good luck revamping the party with some more personable characters that can speak with balance and keep their hands to themselves.

Oh ... and let's see more women running things ... :D

( ... avoid UKIP's biggest mistake - overt misogyny.)

"We are prepared, for the liberty of our fatherland to be imprisoned and even shed our blood, but we won't allow them to sell-out our fatherland!" - Nikolaos G. Michaloliakos

"I don't care if they call us nationalists, fascists or whatever they like. Yes, we want those lands (Asia Minor) back. They are Greek! and one day, God Willing, we will liberate them!" - Nikolaos G. Michaloliakos

Turks and FYROManians Rejoice Over Arrest Of Golden Dawn MPs

Bravo to the Greek State for satisfying the appetites of Turkish and FYROManian media outlets as well as opening a Pandora's Box that has half the planet talking about Greek Nazis all day. According to reports, the media in both Turkey and FYROM are rejoicing over the arrest of several prominent figures of the far-right Golden Dawn party, including its leader Nikos Michaloliakos. (Read relevant article published earlier on Saturday on HellasFrappe)

Turkish newspapers such as Hurriyet, Zaman etc., rejoiced because the nationalists who were scaring the "Turkish minority in Thrace" were finally arrested! (Note: Turkey which has designs in the region of Thrace -and more or less wants to create another Kosovo there- is the only country in the world that sees this minority as Turkish, when we all know that the people who live here are Greek Muslims, Pomaks and Roma.)

On the website of the "Utrinski Vesnik" newspaper it was also noted that the charge that was thrown at the far-right Greek party, or of forming a criminal organization -something that has not been confirmed by prosecutors but only from the Greek media- can lead to Golden Dawn's banishment from the Greek parliament. The article on "Utrinski Vesnik" also left it to be understood that Golden Dawn's political execution was a demand of many international organizations because of the violent attacks against illegal immigrants. All this of course is coming from Turkey which is a country that is making billions and billions of euros from trafficking people into Greece illegally. We didn't expect them to say anything else, since they want to Turkify all of Greece.

In FYROM the privately-owned "Channel 5" television station in Skopje said that among those arrested is Golden Dawn MP Ilias Panagiotaros, who had shown aggression to a FYROManian lorry driver from -Macedonia-. (Kind of a lame statement to make if you think about it... Because anyone with half a brain and who is Greek would show aggression to a license plate that wrote Macedonia.)

Expanding its criticism further on Panagiotaros, the Skopjan television channel more or less expressed its satisfaction with his arrest because the Golden Dawn MP had characterized them as "gyftoskopianous" or gypsy-Skopjans in the Greek Parliament. (Of course the channel is not bothered by the level of unemployment in this country nor the circus of construction that is occurring in this country's capital city -where Greek columns, a statue of Alexander the Great and other Greek artifacts are being presented as Slavic when we all know that the Slavs did not even exist in the region during this period but descended in the Balkans 600 years later-). Maybe they should first tend to their own affairs, and poke their noses out of Greek national affairs.

Look at them. Quintessentially Greek. They have no problem with the image they portray.
What can you say really?

the only thing im afraid from the GD is that some of the dumb Greeks in the long run will associate the Greek flag for fascism, much like some Cypriots who
have been conditioned along those same lines...
