Yes, we had and to an extent still have much the same problem in GB, where the national flag was hijacked by the fascists and therefore associated with the neo-Nazi Fascist National Front in the '70s and '80s.

it took years and years to reclaim the flag.

There were and maybe still are problems with the national flag of England being associated with modern-day English nationalists.

Nah, the Greek flag is too deeply associated with the toilet to have any other meanings.

Greece has now begun the mass clean out.

It seems that the party has been declared a criminal organization.

Greece has done a very good thing here. This is unprecedented in a democratic country but sadly very necessary.

Certainly better late than never and the Greek Authorities and Government have something to feel proud of as they have recognized the danger and acted by arresting many senior GD figures.

Ten out of ten for Greece. I don't think anyone can argue with that.

Time for Cyprus to follow suit with ELAM/EOKA B.
