A friend, a staunch supporter of the CY couple and who was present at the meeting with Pres A earlier today, writes elsewhere...
"... We have just left the Presidential Palace and Koray and Cinel are now on their way back to Famagusta after an audience with President Anastasiades.
The near 1300 signatures for the petition to have the charges against them dismissed was handed over and discussion took place around the events that led up to their arrest.
President Anastasiades was to have a meeting with Mr Akinci on Saturday but this has been postponed until next week and Mr Anastasiades has promised he will discuss the issue with Cinel and Koray with him to find a way to support the couple in this ridiculous farce.
The couple said they believed that now that Mr Akinci has been elected that together with Mr Anastasiades they will help come together for a just and viable solution to the Cyprus issue.
Mr Anastasiades agreed and said that he believed it is also possible as they both have similar ideas about a solution and the climate is now very positive.
I asked him what practical support he can offer the couple at their next court case on the 13th May and he said he will also discuss this with Mr Akinci when they meet up.
He said they were a brave couple and congratulated them on taking a stance with the Cyprus flag. Photos will follow later tonight..."

thats not what he said earlier. he said he was doing it because terggy allowed roc to attend some games with the flag seen in terggy near the terggish flag and trnc sports people were not invited to the games. thats why he did it.
