Left Cyprus 50 years ago!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

...you live as a thief, you have even admitted it, and you have no compulsion to change yourself, as though there can be no better; do you think you can call yourself a Cypriot because you live there? I am a better Cypriot than you.

..."will never comeback", don't make me laugh, Justice, and Justice seen don't disappear forever because you want them to, as much as "you" like. in any case, I don't speak often on what was, as you know, I am focused on finding a basis, Bicommunal, Bizonal, and a Federation, that is in effect an improvement to the State, (and to the state) we have. you may hope that things will stay the same, you are unwilling to consider a future where the changes we make better ourselves, and you call people like me dreamers; things, unnatural, like what happened in Cyprus, cannot stay the same, forever: you are the dreamer.

You argue for a country that will never be yours, Im more Cypriot that you will ever be because I returned to my island which I cannot steal because it belongs to me.

..blood, blood makes the issue a lot more relevant than the fact you wish what "you" 'have', is yours. if you have missing in your family, or dead, as I've said before, I am sorry for your loss, and if not, as far as I'm concerned, you are not an equal, and you, in my opinion, are by no means superior.

...there is no country "to be mine" vp, there is where you are wrong, there is no country to be "yours", only Cyprus.

That’s a very important thing! You’ve got to make your move when you’re 40-45ish at the latest and come back home for good otherwise you’ll miss that last boat and be trapped overseas for life.

Of course this is only true for wage/salary earners which are the majority, but a successful businessman has all options available to them.

In my case my objectives were very clear before leaving Cyprus at 22ish…

1. Get a free tertiary education and establish a career path.
2. Explore and enjoy a foreign modern country while young.
3. Save up enough so as to return early after 10-15 years and prepare for the second phase of life back home.

Mission accomplished! :D

If you don’t plan, you plan to fail! (<- The young ones reading this should write this down on their foreheads!)

I want to come back in style, in a convertible, driving on the 6-lane highway tunnel Turkey will build to Cyprus, right next to the water pipes!

You make it sound like as if I have spent the last 50 years in a solitary confinement prison and that living on the outside will be impossible from now on!

Last time I had visited Cyprus for only 2 weeks I felt right at home after 43 years absence.

You have missed that boat a long time ago, you will never return to Cyprus as you have never had courage to take that step...yet you want to dictate to us on how we should live, bloody cheek and waste of time....the people that live on this island are far more important.

What's the difference between a Cypriot working in the British bases or the American Radio station, and a Cypriot who works abroad?
The both spend 9-12 hours a day at work and traveling to work, 8 hours sleep, and 4 hours spare time plus weekends.
If I would move abroad I would spend my spare time tuning up my internet to all Cypriot Radio stations and TVs read all Cypriot newspapers from the internet, and know and feel about Cyprus the same way as I do now.
Nobody can tell that Kikapu for example doesn't know and feel about recent developments in Cyprus EQUALLY as anyone living in Cyprus.
Besides just take a trip abroad. You can distinguish a Cypriot from a mile away

Before 1995 yes any Cypriot expat would be totally isolated from Cyprus. But today with the internet, free online live chatting, cheap airline tickets, most expats can be as Cypriot as anyone living here imo.
