A member of the Turkish military personnel has been injured by a mortar shell fired from Syria.

Can't say I'm not in love with the idea of Turkish and ISIS combatants killing each other for the next 10 years. It's a win win.

I thought ISIS were Turkey's equivalent of the false-flag bombs that she usually plants to gain an excuse to invade or cause civil unrest. The excuse being to invade Syria, this time. Continuing Turkish Expansionism.

ISIS are Turkey's tools, aren't they?

(Worryingly, Turkey have a record of being very successful with this tactic - even after the truth has been revealed; they seem to hold onto their spoils.)

If Turkey is part of the coalition then it will be under America's direct command. They will need to tow the line.

If they even fire one bullet against the Peshmerga or PKK, all hell will break loose.

The strategically important Kurdish town of Kobane in the north of Syria looks set to fall to the Islamic State hoodlums:

The residents of this town have been battling ISIL for about three weeks.Does this not cast doubt on the effectiveness of the Western bombing campaign? There do seem to have been some bombing raids on ISIL positions around the town, but obviously without the desired effect.

it looks like the terks are not going to help the kurds on the other side of the border. old animosities cannot be papered over it seems and our resident blood thirsty swine will have to wait another time to see bloodshed.

You are the most STUPID, IGNORANT, UN EDUCATED Peasant I have ever had the displeasure of responding too.

The animals, your barbarian cousins the ISIS, are massacring men women and children, beheading them and using the heads as football, A BARBARIAN such as you fully supports them.
Piss of you little shit, back where you came from peasant

olds fools remain so till the day they die. did you read what your best buddy dt wrote about terks being killed. did you feel his need for blood to be spilt which is normally reserved for the witch of the forum.

why are the tanks parked on the terkish side of the border, what are they waiting for. perhaps they are waiting for the kurdish fighters who they have been fighting with for 40 years to be killed and then they will go in and occupy the town. i suspect the civilians in this town are long gone to the terkish side of of the border. i am only guessing.

its funny because that staunch ally of the united states called saudi arabia also beheaded 19 people in the last few months but not a word about this american and your ally. i guess alzheimer has set in.

unlike you i do not support either murderers because they are the same. america had no business invading iraq or bombing afghnaistan. half a million people have been killed in iraq and hundreds of thousands in syria. but it seems a few westerners amongst the dead and you get all riled up thirsting for blood. i gather you even look like dracula.
