The school was a Military Owned School/college.

Of course atrocities have been committed since the dawn of time. However, it is necessary to draw a distinction between atrocities committed by people who happen to be labelled as belonging to one particular religion or ideology, and those openly committed in the name of a religion or other ideology. Yes, George Bush idiotically declared "God told me to invade Iraq" and, to this extent, the death and destruction wrought in the course of that campaign may perhaps be laid at the door of that delusion known as religion, and suggests that humanity will be a whole lot happier once that delusion is finally laid to rest, but essentially the Iraq campaign was underpinned by neo-imperialist designs and was not openly waged in the name of religion.
