If America is this “modern world” then I think they’re far better off as they are if we can control ourselves from bombing them for stupid reasons like “You’re too ugly and you smell bad!”.

Let's say it was a false flag. It doesn't change the fact that twelve innocent people were killed.

I don’t consider them innocent; false flag or otherwise, because they were inciting religious hatred and obviously got on some people’s nerves.

If you think religion is nonsense you have to stay quiet, is that it?

Nobody said that atheists shouldn’t have an opinion, but do so with a level of sensitivity that doesn’t insult the believer.

Do you also believe that believers should not insult atheists? I think it would be a enough if they didn't torture and kill them, like they do in Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Have an opinion? May they express that opinion, then?

Saudi Arabia is criticised for a new law equating “atheism” with “terrorism”. The very first article of the kingdom’s new terror regulations banned: “Calling for atheist thought in any form, or calling into question the fundamentals of the Islamic religion”.

In Saudi Arabia, all atheists are branded terrorists. Do you then condemn this?

I'd be two-faced if I didn't agree with that but I should mention that an atheist doesn't have an emotional attachment to a deity so it's harder to insult them.

I think it would be a enough if they didn't torture and kill them, like they do in Saudi Arabia and Iran.

You didn't know that it was a capital offence to be an atheist in Saudi Arabia and Iran. You only know what it suits you to know, don't you?

"An atheist doesn't have an emotional attachment to a deity so it's harder to insult them." That is highly offensive. Do I care? Not one jot.

I would just get out of S.Arabia if I didn't like it but I certainly wouldn't bomb that country just for that!

Oh, and it's also silly trying to change it... any change will come very gradually.

But what are you getting at Tim?

Are you trying to justify nasty cartoons because of S.Arabian archaic religious laws?

I don’t get it…

Who is bombing Saudi Arabia because it persecutes atheists? You really have no clue.

No one is trying to change them.

You should be aware that Saudi Arabia is pretty damn close to the US.

We are only trying to stop Radical Islamic Fundamentalism such as what we are seeing in Syria and Iraq where innocent SHIAs, and Christians are being targeted by a buncg of goat shagging cutthroats.
