Yes perhaps people in the Diaspora (like you) who have no clue about Greece should keep their mouth shut.

I am in Greece right now, visit yearly and sometimes 2 times per year. I have also put my money where my mouth is when it comes to Greece and pretty much forgotten about the shit hole known as Cyprus because that is what it is as far as I am concerned.

Actually I think I've been pretty quiet on this topic in comparison to you.
But I am entitled to my opinion.

And where is Nikitas? Mars?
Others live there and others who don't seem to have the biggest mouths.

Of course you're entitled to your opinion no matter how wrong it may be.

Won't you look quite the fool when Greece outperforms Cyprus and just about all EU countries within 5 years. One thing you can always bet on after a collapse is the big boom that will follow.

I guess they figured you out in Cyprus and treated you with the contempt you deserve!

Wouldn't it be wiser to wait for your prediction to come to pass before claiming victory?

What a clown!

Nah I got treated just fine and have far too many people to catch up with which makes it hard.

But I do know a trash can when I see it.

Sentiment can only go so far old boy, and stop drinking the tap water please.

Talk about sentiments!
So what is it Paphiti?

Is it the f-16's or the pretty islands?
Or is it the damsel in distress scenario that appeals to you? :)

If only he knew… today he’s Greek, tomorrow Australian, and next week maybe Puerto Rican!

It all depends on which side of the bed he gets up and whether or not he’s menstruating…

Paphitis, I think its time you changed your name, anything apart from Paphitis. Shithole you say? Is it because you came face to face with real Cypriots and had a few problems with some documentation. Mate, Cyprus is not only superior to Greece it is far more friendly and much better organized. I don't dislike the Greeks but Im not overtly overwhelmed by them either.

Why not call your self AFSTRALEZOS or better still, in honour of your favourite game, ...69NotOut

I know one thing.
When a normally intelligent person starts spewing nonsense and ignores the red flags and hard facts....
And then takes a 'holiday' to a war zone just for the sake of it.

At least tell us her name Paphiti.

Re outperforming, nobel laureate economist Paul Krugman today had an article along those lines.

If Greece goes to the drachma it is possible for it to outshine other EU nations in terms of growth, he said.

I would add, provided that it can go to the drachma in an organized way, and it can move fast to exploit maximum potential from such a move while minimising citizen hardship.

To do that it needs practical, non dogmatic and non doctrinaire people. If there were such people in key jobs the problem would not have gotten to where it is now.
