One hopes that Cyprus provides the hospice, to these adversaries, the world will find helpful in the Eastern Med.

One hopes that there is a mutual respect between these parties, and Cyprus; dialog and reason are needed.

It doesn’t go against my beliefs because it’s meaningless baloney.

You’ve obviously got an axe to grind with something/someone (religion?) but can’t put it across very well... :?

I definitely have an axe to grind with whoever found this frail old little monk Παΐσιος and had him say these barbaric shenanigan untruths called prophecies. Now we have Kouroupetos and Greekislandgirl masturbating to everything evil happening in this ongoing conflict in Syria. They actually think that they can sit comfortably on their couch, and nothing will happen to them, whilst millions of people die in surrounding countries, by the will of an ever-loving Christian God mind you, so that the Greeks may receive their 'promise land' in Anatolia. The absolute fuck.

So putting Paissios aside for a sec so we don’t get too confused, what is your take on the recent ME happenings?

- Syria used to live in stability.
- Assad was aligned with Putin and helped protect Russian interests in the region.
- Qatar/Saudi Arabia decided they wanted to put a pipeline through Syria to connect themselves into the European energy grid directly, and earn lots of money.
- Assad told them to go fuck themselves to safeguard Russian interest.
- Qatar and Saudi Arabia involved their ally the U.S.A to protect their interests.
- The U.S.A and several of its NATO allies accused Assad of being an evil dictator and then proceeded to destabilise the region so much the once beautiful Syria now looks like the shithole of mankind.
- Syrians are fleeing their destroyed country and seeking refuge in Europe.
- Russia is currently footing the bill and cleaning NATO's huge dump(islamic military groups) in Syria and Iraq through military operations.
- Noone knows what will actually happen with the energy distribution pipelines at this moment, but they are probably on the negotiating table already.
- Misanthropes in this forum are celebrating the terrible things happening in Syria and think that soon a particular marble statue will miraculously come to life.

The only schadenfreude-ians on the forum are the idiotic Miltiades, Paphitis, and Tim Drayton.

They’re three immature and intellectually impaired buffoons with their heads up their arses that nobody has any respect for anyway. :)

They’ve spent the last 6 months analyzing the “coalition air strikes against ISIS” only to discover that I was right that none took place other than supply drops!

What a disgrace!

The Russian bases are here for keeps… make no mistake about it and there’s nothing the West can do about it as the US will NEVER confront Russia militarily unless their own territory was under threat.

No doubt behind the scenes a face saving US exit door is being constructed and agreed upon with Russia as we speak.

For Cyprus, this will in time prove to be the breakthrough we have been waiting for in our struggle for justice against Turkey.

You have your hand on it once again I'm afraid. But again, what else is new?

it's very much business as usual for the Coalition as our air operations continue 24/7 even though Putin's actions are strengthening DAESH and made the task more difficult.

To remove the coalition of 60 countries, 12 of which have air assets flying in Syria and Iraq is easier said than done. So you can dream on!

Putin on the other hand has a lot more to fear. It should fear a war with the USA and the coalition whereas we have not a great deal to fear. We have a number of options available to us and I will tell you what they are one by one:

1) we control the airspace and there is no doubt about that. We all know who the victor will be if Putin gets carried away. So we could send a message by declaring a "NO FLY ZONE" If Obama does that, then Putin will be too afraid to conduct a scenic flight in Syria because we would engage this flight,

2) we could send a message by shooting a Russian jet down. I am being serious. What can Russia do? declare war? I don't bloody think so. If it did, it will lose all its Air Assets within 24 hours. We have so many aircraft that the Russian Air Bases will turn to glass in hours. Sure, even if we lose half a dozen jets, Putin will learn very quickly his place in this world,

3) we are going to train and supply FSA and JAESH al-Fatah with billions in weapons, so Assad better bunker down. Sure, Russia can continue to bomb them right up to the point we declare a "NO FLY ZONE" in which case they won't even be able to fly a kite.

4) final option is we deploy Ground Troops. Probably an unlikely scenario because we are not going to be in Syria for 20 years fighting this war but Iran and Russia might be there fighting their losing war against rebel groups which we will fund such as the FSA and JAESH al-Fatah.

5) finally, don't forget the Russians have the entire Arab World against them now since Russia has decided to obliterate the Sunnis in Syria. So enjoy that because that is gonna be fun for them.

So stop wanking your little weener because the only smart option the Russians have is to convince Assad to step down.

Meanwhile, our Jets will fly and control the skies. The Russian Jets are our little guests in Airspace we own and control so behave yourself.

Don't ever think the above options are not open. They are real options on the table. They are not ridiculous either because we know Putin can do absolutely nothing to counter these threats if we decide to move ahead with them. He would shit himself and call for urgent negotiations which is the outcome we want. Entering into a war with the USA will be the end of him.
