How is Putin’s so-called campaign to defeat Deash going? According to this latest report by the BBC, not very well, it seems:

Islamic State (IS) fighters have reportedly captured the Syrian town of Maheen, in central Homs Province, from government forces.

...

IS has been expanding from its mainly northern and eastern strongholds towards Homs in central Syria in recent months.

The penny will eventually drop with all but the most brainwashed Putin zealots that this campaign, at least for the time being, has nothing to do with stopping Daesh.

It's contradicted by today's Express:

Vladimir Putin's bid to wipe out ISIS has been so successful that almost a million Syrians are elected to return to their homeland.

Or are ISIS and DAESH/Daesh etc officially different terrorist groups now?

You’ve wasted your last two odd years on the forum bragging about the US, British, Australian, French and I don’t know which other air-force was supposedly bombing ISIS, so why don’t you tell us what went wrong here? :?

Is this coalition you were so proud of the most incompetent group of pilots on the planet getting owned by a bunch of Muslim thugs or just the official ISIS suppliers pulling our leg all this time?

It can only be one or the other Einstein…

Number one: That has never been my position.

Number two: You are dodging the issue.

I have noticed that the right-wing Daily Express and, to a lesser extent, the right-wing Daily Mail have become propaganda outlets for Putin. Let's not forget that these same rags supported Hitler in the 1930's.

I’m not dodging anything but I won’t allow you to pass the buck onto Russia who has only been there for a month.

You need to answer what the damn fuck your “coalition” has been doing the last two years if not taking the Mickey out of the whole damn planet!

Go on…don’t keep us waiting in suspense!

I don't have a coalition.

Never mind Tim... you're too sweaty under the collar and your hands getting too shaky to respond.

Here's the answer for you...

"The US is delivering weapons, ammunition and food to the Islamic State forces. It is an operation to use ISIL mercenaries as a destabilizing force [in Syria],"
