Who cares, these arguments are getting old. Nationhood is a manmade construct, it is in your head. Even if Mycenaeans did colonise the island, your genetic pool would have been mixed beyond recognition by now.

The "genetic pool" is constantly mixing because we multiply with sex, not mitoses, and incest is generally avoided. Nationhood is of course an idea... not something that can be detected in the DNA. But it is an idea based on commonalities among people... such as same language, religion, culture, interests etc. It is not something random.

I never said that it was random, commonalities make it easier to form a group identity. What I find weird is the unwavering allegiance many GC's have to Greece, despite being short changed by them a number of times.

The only reason that those boats with the refugees sink is because they are overloaded, not because of the great distance. Why do you think nearly none of the other 1000s of boats that sail in the same sea never sink? You are again trying to argue against well known facts. Sea travel and trade in the Mediterranean during that period is an undeniable historical fact and only an idiot like yourself would question it using such simplistic and ignorant arguments. P.S. the boats then, just like now, don't necessarily reach their destination in one go. They can make stops in other locations if necessary.
