I cannot agree with you GIG, it was the Brits who first gave us these identities, "Greeks" and "Turks"; to this day the people in and from my village identify themselves as Cypriots, but then that is what we were called, then: mixed. I suggest to you with your attitude, that being "Greek" to be a Cypriot will only lead to the extinction of Greek entirely. Think about it.

@Garavnoss, you may be a latent homosexual yourself, i suspect that your own fears are as such.

The Brits also taught us the Greek language.

What Greek? Do you guys still think you speak Greek?

I can't understand a word Lordo is saying myself. I need a translator myself when I hear Cypriot but my Dad never taught me the language. He sent me to Greek School instead where I learned Greek and Greek History.

I take it you admit you are not a Cypriot.

Not that I didn't know, but your post removes any remaining doubts...

...we are Hellenes, but we are not "Greek". Moreso, it is likely that Greeks, their origin, are the islands and not the mainland.

Hellenes, or Greeks, are citizens of the world, "Greeks" (just like "Turks" who cannot see beyond "Turkishness") cannot see beyond their own "Greekness".

@Garavnoss, i do not judge, it seems you do. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but i see no Grace in yours. You must have a very low sense of esteem to have such a negative opinion of Mr. Bowie, based solely on a persona you have pasted on him. I see a father with children who love him, i see a creative man who was very much an inspiration to people who have the courage to look into themselves, to overcome their fears, and to act accordingly. Unlike you, and the ilk you have taken the time to express great admiration for, his solution for everything does not profess to be murderous violence like tossing people to their death, or slavery. Perhaps you should consider moving to a country with more 'rules', Freedom does not seem to offer you what you are looking for.

RW, this closet homosexual, the Pervert, is the lowest scum I have ever come across.
You, and others, would no doubt have noticed his incessant obsession with my self. He, being a Pervert, attains perverted sexual gratification by being fixated with my person. Now, of course, was he to be a luscious blonde with blue eyes and generous tits I would understand and feel rather complimented by his obsession, but he is a fucking Pervert, do you wonder why I treat him the way that I do.

...yes i do, milti.

carry on if you wish, sometimes the words read like poetry, i enjoy that. And i am grateful to see that Freedom of Expression includes this dialog, as well, vile as it may be.

...you can choose to ignore him, allow him his due, at least, that's what i do, and keep your powder dry so to speak. Garavnoss takes great pleasure in winding you up, and you take great pleasure in your reply, so it's ok i guess. If you want my opinion, sorry to say it so coldly but no other words come to mind, you are a facilitator to this very sad and frustrated person, and he in some way is yours.

...anyway, i don't know if this man sells children in Piccadilly Circus (I left him, scurrying to get away from me), i know so little about him, or even if he is a Cypriot (the reason why i chose to take a violent stand against another man i did not know), that i might feel uncomfortable enough to defend my character against his. I cannot smell Garavnoss, and i cannot look into his eyes, he is an enigma, as are the rest of us, here, in the electronic sphere.

;calm yourself milti, and my advice to all of us (if there is a Cypriot way).

Know, that love is an infinite power, the way, a gift for us to give, to be loving; mind less the bollocks, and be the best that you can be: know that you are loved accordingly.
