That looks like an M16 on the right for sure...
The gear?
It's all American funded isn't it?

Weapon on the right looks like an M16.

Weapon on left, I don't know.

Uniforms - don't look American but could be from anywhere.

The weapons are sourced from many countries, even Albania. Also, lots of Russian equipment has been supplied to them from Coalition Air lifts and Drops. Even AK47s were supplied by the thousands.

Even Cyprus would have supplied something maybe. It's not just up to the Americans to supply and pay for everything.

Also, can you please refrain from directly addressing threads to me please?

I don't find the attention welcome.

it would be greatly appreciated if you can address any threads to the forum at large and not me.

It's starting to get very ridiculous and I am pretty much on the brink of quitting the forum permanently because of all the personal threads.

i'm not having a go at you as you probably did it innocently, unlike others, but my patience is starting to wear very thin at these kinds of threads.

Noted.
The reason was because you have in depth knowledge on these things, and I was curious.

Why, there are rumors that Paphitis may be a top NATO commander in disguise on one of his intelligence gathering missions.

No worries mate.

I don't know a lot about guns just a few basics.

Do know about a Steyr 5.56 inside out and Gloch but that's pretty much it. But I have spent more time pulling one apart, cleaning it and doing drill than actually fire it.

You better off asking cannon fodder Get Real. Poor bugger must have shot thousands of rounds like rambo in the CNG.

Or just ask DT who probably knows all this stuff.

Many hundreds for sure… but Cap should’ve also served the CNG unless he hasn’t revealed the full story!

Have you done your military duty little skoullo? :?

That's not enough.

If you were infantry, it should be thousands. Upon thousands. If that was your specialty.

It was never mine so I just had to know how to shoot one and hit a target.

But I certainly knew how to swing it and do all kinds of fancy stuff as part of a parade drill, flag detail and last post drill etc etc. That was in the first year, then I had forgotten most of it and probably couldn't do it.

If you did anything wrong, you were friggin toast. I remember practicing for ANZAC and the Drill Sargent or Chief wanting me out and was just staring at me for me to blink. That's all it took.

The one on the right is probably an AR15...

Most target practices are done in semi 8 rounds at 400m and then 2-3 p/year are done in automatic 18 rounds.

It’s not like you get to fire as many as you want.
