You may think the S-400 is a dud but the Israeli’s are even shit scared of the old and purely defensive S-300’s that Russia will more than likely supply to Syria. They have threatened to take them out before they can be installed and become operational. Russia has warned them of consequences if they do.

So, either you have got it all wrong again or maybe you should contact the IAF and give them the benefit of your vast experience and set their minds at rest ..... as there is obviously nothing to fear as all this Russian crap never works anyway.

You have on the one hand a proven technology in combat (Tomahawk) Vs the unproven S400. A missile system which the Americans know all about through Greece and soon Turkey as well. An Air Defence System which NATO uses to test their capabilities with.

There must be a reason why they are not even used. Why they are not flicked on.

I will tell you the reason. Russia is in the business of selling arms. Any hint that the S400 is a dud will be very costly. And should this weapon be in Assad's hands, it is basically an invitation to Israel or the Coalition to put the S400 to the test.

The Tomahawk Cruise missile however, is no friggin joke. And it isn't a missile that can be jammed or intercepted by the S400 Air Defence System.

Freedom of speech and expression are actually limited in Western countries todate. E.g when the Queen came here she was shocked that people were throwing eggs at her Limo. Obviously such a thing would never be permitted in London. Yet that's what freedom of expression is all about.

In Cyprus it was somehow different. We were "lucky" enough to have the British educate us a bit on democracy, teach us their own law and order etc for about 80 years.
And after we got independent and we were given the freedom to rule ourselves we screwed up everything in just 7 years, hence the reason we today have de facto partition.

You seem to think though that Monarchies are dictatorships. That’s not the case. The UK, Canada, Australia and NZ are monarchies but are democracies. You can demonstrate, do what you like and yes you can also throw some eggs at the PM. You are unlikely to get arrested for such a thing.

I think the Queen would have taken it in her stride. I doubt she would have worried too much about it all. I’m not sure if throwing an egg at the Monarch is criminal. The thing with the Monarch is that it is an institution. It may be illegal. But you can throw eggs at PMs and at politicians no problem and plenty have.

Tomahawk is 1970's technology, is slow and is a relatively easy target especially good pray for electronic/microwave immobilising technology.

Well the coalition has taken great steps to make sure they are not turned on, they stay well away from areas under Russian control. They are keeping you guessing. When they turn them on it will be too late to do anything but bail-out!

So where are the missing 71 missiles that were fired at Syria and then disappeared? A lot of the bits are spread out on tables in Russia from those found already ...... and look at the bits, they did not explode they crashed without the warhead being armed.

Personally my money says the Russians did it ....... with their Microwave 'Death Ray' now mounted on Russian ships and aircraft.

BTW: The Greeks don't have the S-400 ...... they have the S-300 (an older version, that they got from Clerides) I think you will find the S-400 is a different ball game.

One other thing, Cypriots shouldn't be throwing eggs at the Queen. It's ok not to like her for the past imperialism of the UK in Cyprus, but throwing eggs is a little embarrassing.

You got to remember that she is Head of State. She should be treated with respect, just like any other Head of State. let's say Trump visits Cyprus, why go and throw eggs at him for. It can be a bit offensive.

In the Queens case, she is also the Head of State of Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and Northern Ireland. When you throw an egg at her, you really are not throwing an egg at the person but an institution and a Head of State. She is a symbol.

She also isn't a decision maker in British Politics like they were in the old days. her role is purely ceremonial.
