450 euros she said. Fuck that I said, you taking the piss. If you can't afford it she said don't buy it. She was a stuck up village peasant !! Im not a rich man I said, only have a couple of million !!!

If you were stupid enough to walk into a store that had no pricing (which is illegal anyway ) you deserve all you get.

I avoid anything that is for sale with no price shown, especially cars.

Mate I don't know which part of Cyprus you are in but in Limassol you will be hard pressed to find a shop displaying prices.
As for it being illegal, well its also illegal to go through red lights and break the speed limit.

Frankly, I have reached the conclusion that in Cyprus prices for general goods, especially chemist products are a daylight robbery. Anything from sun tan cream, vitamins, health essentials, as well as ....viagra, are at exorbitant prices. By the way I get my ...viagra free. The NHS offers all diabetics 4 tablets a month, that is once a week !!!!
I can just about manage once a ...year !!

picking on the chemists and health services again...see my post above...

as far as your "how many times a month", please to much graphic, no need for that...

but hey nothing stopping you to going back to the good Ol' days living in the uk milti, where everything is rosy...lol...

It is obvious that you are involved in the chemist business, hense the rather feeble excuses you make fir the ripp off prices demanded by the pharmacies. Mate, I fully conversant with rudiments of international trade, I fail to see how a product that sells in the UK for £2.59 sells in ALL chemists at
€6.95. No mate, donot try and justify Sharp Practices. Its diabolical that these SHARKS, are ready to offer flimsy excuses for ripping the public off. You have failed to convince me and in the process you have exposed your self as one closely connected with these con merchants.

My fellow Cypriots.
Are you aware that Cyprus' dairy products, milk, bread, cheese etc are the MOST expensive in the EU.
Do not listen to feeble excuses, the only reason is that of immense GREED. It is ludicrous that home made products are costing extravagant sums of money.Halloumi is ....cheaper in the UK.than Cyprus !!!

i think your reading skills are above excellent but your comprehension skills suck big time...you need to correct your imbalance prior to attempting a response...get it?...

and i have nothing to do with chemists milti...i run a factory in china that makes tempered glass for mobile devices exporting to 4-5 countries around the world, one been egypt...

Chemists prices are a RIPOFF.
Bread, milk, dairy products, all made in Cyprus, no transport costs and no import tax. Meat too. Cypriots are being fleeced right left and centre.

again you are comparing a massive super store that competes with other massive super stores, with both having a purchasing power and a turnover that would easily dwarf the whole of Cyprus, government included...of course they are gonna pay peanuts for the goods, and they might even actually produce themselves...has it ever occurred to you the reason they are cheaper is because they might work on 3% net margin because of their turnover and not having seasonal periods to boot?
I guess not hey milti?

just a reminder milti business is greed, you squezze as much as you can, this is why you are in business to make fucking money, and as you are always pointing out you did very well for yourself...weren't you greedy?...I say you were...again how do I know this?...because you sourced, I presumed, quality first and price second were your options, this does not say you were the cheapest with the best quality on the planet...let's assume other companies could have been cheaper and than you with cheaper pricing and same quality as you...then that would make you a rip off merchant...wouldn't it?...bigger companies with higher purchasing power than you supplying same goods as you with better pricing and working with lower GP than you because of the massive turnover...

you get the point milti?...if i was a a betting man i would bet you have not as you seemed to be totally clueless judging by your ramblings...

cyprus is not for you milti you need to get back to the uk were your fortune is safe... lol

here you go again proving what i said earlier you have comprehension problems...we discuss the chemists already...

its all about sales milti...if i was to invest 100 million pounds a month in the uk market for some medication you think gool ol cyprus would have the same price as my customers in the uk...it's a show me the money then you get pricing...

firstly as you pointed out viagra free in the uk because of government and expensive in cyprus with no government subsity...
secondly companies give better pricing to larger customers, i am not sure about medications but

walk in a shop, a computer shop and ask for the price of windows 10, and what ever price you get HP, DELL, LENOVO ACER, etc pay US$20, now are you going to call every shop in the uk and cyprus ripoff merchants?...are you for fucking real?...

it's all about purchasing volume...and sales per month to keep a healthy balance...just because you sold pots and fucking pans, it does not automatically turn you into a fucking mister know all...it turns you into a grampy old man that knows fuck all about anything...

Branded pharmaceuticals are far more expensive than the generic form, wherever you are. It's the big pharma companies that make the money, not the Chemist in a shop.

- Except for Boots the Chemist which was selling creams to the NHS worth only a few pounds for several hundred pounds:

It seems odd that there are so many pharmacies here though. It's a 3 km drive from the Limassol highway to my village and there are 4 of them. :?

Don't be such a fucking idiot, My tolerance level for morons is exceedingly low. To critisize an aspect regarding high prices does not infer that I want to go back. I will critisize those aspects that I consider a bloody disgrace for Cyprus. One of course is none other than the driving, the other is the obsession with fucking money. Screw them as much as you can get away with.
By the way, there is absolutely nothing wrong with my " comprehension " that is a problem that you appear to have.
Let me reiterate. I dont give a shit as to the stupid excuses why a cream I buy in the UK for £2.59 is sold here for €6.95.
Im afraid Cyprus is pricing it self out of the tourist market also. Its plain bloody greed.
Must have a Mercedes, a BMW, a Range Rover even a Masserati and a bloody pair of torn jeans for 200 euros. Wake up, you are being fleeced.
